Doomsayer for earlier game and people who can't afford it. Some buffing of it can let it live for another turn for control in the early game. However, the alternative 0/7 minion is just better.
Doomsayer for poor people. Stricly worse, but I'm looking forward to see this generated randomly, it could lead to hilarious moments.
doomsayer for someone who don't have it or don't want a craft it or some baku deck

I like the flavour of the card, dealing damage and all
maybe just some fringe application, but I don't see it. Priest combo shenanigans just don't seem good enough or even as a winning strategy.
small doomsayer with some room to tinker around. i like the flexibility and anti aggro potential. sounds like a good card to delay the onslaught of aggro. i like.
Worse than doomsayer. You don't wanna play a board clear on turn 1 and this card is garbage in late games. You will feel terrible drawing this

a low cost doomsayer, but seems worst, my pop in sometime
It's literally half the cost of doomsayer and can pretty much kill any early board. It's worse vs control but I think it's much better vs aggro.
I love that this can be slammed on turned one playing a control deck! That means if you go first as control and you are playing vs aggro or midrange you can mess up their early game or 1 drop plays. Idk if you would run this AND doomsayer, but it would be a good way to have the first two turns free. Feels like a dead draw in control v control tho.
Nice one drop for a slow deck can play this to buy time since opponent either ignores this for face or spend a turn or resources killing this. Basically it’s a 1 cost 0/5 that works as a soft taunt.
Smaller Doomsayer might be enough to see play, but I doubt it considering how strong other new cards are. Doesn't seem good enough to have priority over other cards, but only time will tell.
A new weaker Doomsayer...but it's NOT a bad card. The 1 mana cost is good and it's another tool for control to beat agro deck. Usually you don't want put 2 Doomsayer and 2 Depth charge in the same deck but the fact that this card exists prevents a meta full agro
Control decks now have four doomsayers. Seems like they really want to push aggro decks away from the meta

I like it. Could be interesting with Sand Breath and/or Lightforged Blessing.
that interaction with divine shield could be pretty interesting, now that you mention it.
Use a spell like Righteousness to protect your board while your opponent has to play around a flamestrike at the beginning of your next turn.
Not a good card. At best it acts as a taunt to delay aggro decks.
