u will get 1 additional attack, if u are lucky. bow is much better, plus there are some secret synergies.
sometime secret bow solo win the game that the same but for dragon expect secret

Why would a hunter carry a hammer though?
Solid replacement of Eaglehorn Bow for dragon decks. If dragons for Hunter prevail (and I hope so), this will be autoinclude.
looks really strong to me. 3 mana 3/2 weapon is already played in hunter so this will be played if dragons make an appearance in hunter, too
if you don't wanna lose your weapon just atk when playing a dragon. easier to fulfill condition than eaglehorn bow imo
urgh pretty strong card if dragon hunter is a thing. Maybe swing one on turn 3 and keep it until you get dragon. Solid card

its a good weapon but hunter is a weak class with dragons
3 Damage every turn can be pretty strong, but it does receive damage instead of Rogue's Quests.
Seems alright I guess, but Hunter may not have the equivalent support some other classes has with their dragons. Otherwise, it seems like just like a strictly better Fiery War Axe to me
This is kinda scary, this card alone could allow hunter to run a deck with lots of cheap dragons that it can play and smash the hero power for 5 damage per turn and some tempo while playing cheap dragons along with it every turn. Seems pretty decent to me!
This card might be the reason decks have to run some weapon destruction (and now stealing lul). Very interesting.
I'm still very unsure about dragon hunter but this is an obvious include if that's a thing.
This seems real strong, a weapon that doesn't lose durability only multiplies it's damage over time
A shame this won't have an animation of the hammer flying against the enemies and returning to the weapon slot.

Very powerful weapon, but will only see its true power as long as weapons are not meta in the next standard.
If it ever gets like Waggle Pick level of busted like in RoS standard then expect weapon removal in every deck. Or better yet, they might just steal the weapon and leave you crying.
It's a pretty good card for a Dragon hunter deck. Always having a 3 attack weapon it's pretty good. Let's hope that Dragon Hunter decks are good enough and this card 'll see a lot of play.

To those wondering, per lore, Stormhammers were wielded by the Wildhammer Dwarves, notoriously fierce rulers of the sky, riding upon their trusted Gryphons, beasts whom they shared a deep bond. They used the sacred weapons, but didn't have a shamanistic connection with the elements embued in them, and when throwing them, they were known to return to the user. While they aren't necessarily tied to any class, one could argue that their wild natures, ranged DPS, bonds with beasts and friendships with elves could skew them hunter. Falstad (as seen in Warcraft lore and Heroes of the Storm) is a great example of one of these characters, famously leading a team to free the dragon queen herself, Alexstrasza, though they also battled dragons and dragon-riders as well, meaning they have a connection, both positive and negative, with dragons.
Can't say the card is a perfect capture for flavor, but the ties are there, for sure.

People have given it an average 2.85 stars in arena. Oh boy but people really have no idea what makes a strong arena card. The only reason this is epic rarity is because it would explosively increase Hunters power level in arena. Though given how weak they now are it might have been worth it.
