[DoD] The Dragon Pirates!

Pirates has always been great during early game, but loses steam quickly.

This deck mitigates that weakness with Galakrond package, Scion of Ruin + Barista Lynchen combo, and of course the great Ancharrr

This deck has a huge meta-breaking potential right now. Resurrect Priest is weak against aggressive early game. The same with Deathrattle Rogue, and usually Rogues don't have adequate healing either. Other Galakrond Warrior archetypes are a bit slower than this deck, and again, no decent healing. Pure Pirate Warrior loses steam quickly. With a right mulligan you can even out-aggro Galakrond Warlocks. Highlanders (Rogues, Mages, and Hunters) may be a little bit trickier match-up, the games will be a bit longer but you can always depend on a fully invoked Galakrond to win these games. Druids and Shamans are rare, and they are also susceptible to aggressive play. Paladin is a dead class.

SHORT GUIDE

- Mulligan for pirates rather than invokers.
- Ancharrr is always a great card to keep on your opening hand. Controlling the board while drawing cards. Perfect weapon for pirates.
- Play aggressively. Pressure their early game, trade carefully. Do not let them have board on the early game.
- Fully invoked Galakrond will draw 4 cards, and in the buildup the invoke hero power can give you some tempo play. Fully invoked is significantly better, but if you desperately need card draws to hit face and win, it's okay to play Galakrond prematurely as there are a lot of charge minions in this deck.
- Always play Scion of Ruin after invoking twice, and if possible, play it on turn 8+, combo with Barista Lynchen. 9-rush-damage to board for 3 mana is always good. Doing it 3 more times is even better.
- This is a mid-range deck, in a very long game you will lose. Keep this in mind. A lot of times during mid-game you will have full/big health while the opponent health has reduced significantly due to your aggressive early game. This will be the time for you to switch strategy. Go face and disregard their boards. Finish them fast. Sometimes you don't need a fully invoked Galakrond to win, or even any Galakrond at all.
- Every deck has its weakness. This deck weakness is a well-timed taunt and healing.
