Bees Knees (Token Spell Druid)

Pulled this deck off twitter: SOURCE

This deck is the nuts! It's the bees knees! I climbed from Legend dumpster to top 1000 with close to a 70% WR in a day. If you are in legend 2000+, you know how hard it is to climb in the new system - you have to have well over a 50% WR. This is the first deck i've had real success with at legend this season.

This deck is extremely explosive and unexpected. Most wild druid decks are the slow Aviana-Kun combo type. This one pops from out of nowhere to make a big board for the win!

Gameplan: Go wide by sticking a Glowfly Swarm or Wispering Woods and then buff with Savage Roar, Mark of the Lotus, Power of the Wild, or Blessing of the Ancients. If you get cleared by AOE, then try again. There are lots of ways to create a wide board from out of nowhere. There are no minions in this deck which is why Fungal Fortunes is a GREAT draw engine. You can reload MANY times even if your token board gets cleared before you can buff it.

Early turns it is okay to pretend to be a slow druid deck (skip turn 1, HP turn 2). Fungal Fortunes is a great turn 2 play to set it up.

Against fast aggro it is okay to play Living Roots on turn 1 and start pressuring opponent immediately.

Unexpected MVP: BEEEES!!! acts as great early game removal and board builder against other aggro decks, of which there are many. It combos great with Floop's Glorious Gloop in order to remove a small threat, build a board, and buff it in one turn.

Strong against: Odd Demon Hunter, Pirate Warrior, Rogues, Hunters, Shaman, any slow decks or combo decks.

Weak against: Razakus Priest (so many board clears)

Even against: Cubelock (although I've had a very positive WR) - I think the surprise factor is there but, it is usually easy to push through their big taunts as long as they can't clear your board. Try to go wide and buff with Lotus or POTW in the same turn to avoid Defile.

Mulligan: Still figuring this out, but I always keep Fungal Fortunes and Mark of the Lotus. Sometimes keep Pounce (vs aggro). Usually keep BEEEES!!! and Living Roots. Sometimes keep Savage Roar if you can build a board with your other keeps; you can finish many games by turn 5 or 6 with it. Sometimes keep Dreamway Guardians vs aggro. Pretty much throw everything else back.

Just tried it a few times (I’m not much for wild but I had these cards), and so far it’s crazy-go-nuts! Let’s see how far I can ride this, I’d like more wins on my Druid

Glad you had fun with the deck. I was rocking it in legend last season And climbing, but the nerf to fungal fortunes was way worse than I thought. I’m shelving the deck for now but it was super fun and fast while it lasted!

for some quick and dirty wins with Druid try Murlocs! Super explosive and can steal wins against any deck but can’t reload.
