Spell Damage Results Mage

This deck takes advantage of spells that receive extra bonuses from Spell Damage.  The buff to Unexpected Results makes it so much easier to use as a tempo play and it is the main feature of this deck.

In addition to Unexpected Results; Arcane Blast, Shooting Star, and Greater Arcane Missiles all get extra value from Spell Damage.

To actually give these cards Spell Damage we need to play some, shall we say unusual minions.  Spellzerker and Celestial Emissary can give us cheap or on curve spell damage to get 4 drops from Unexpected Results.  Cosmic Anomaly can give us a burst of spell damage and has alright stats for its cost considering Evolved Kobold is a 2/2 with the same text and no tribe.  Bloodmage Thalnos and Azure Drake both cycle and have Spell Damage, so they are a natural fit.  The Azerite Elemental may be a bit more questionable, but if your opponent doesn't have a way to deal with it you can snowball into some crazy plays. With Elemental Evocation you can also play it on turn 3 when its more likely to survive and Molten Reflection is pretty good on it.

I opted to go for Arcane Missiles and Cinderstorm over targetted burn because it can help deal with wide aggro boards and it can't hit your own things if Archmage Vargoth copies it.

Speaking of Archmage Vargoth, aside from just getting an extra Unexpected Results in, he also enables some huge two turn kills when used with Molten Reflection and Greater Arcane Missiles!  If Archmage Vargoth is your only minion and you cast Molten Reflection on him, you'll have 4 Vargoths by the end of your turn.  If they stick and you play Greater Arcane Missiles the next turn, each Vargoth will deal 9 damage + 3 for every spell damage you have!
