Renouncing Victory, With Style!

Renounce Darkness is still relevant, goddamn it!

Renounce Darkness has been a thing for ages now, but never has it truly been viable. Right now, it still isn't, but RoS gave us a few tools to survive more easily and draw it sooner.

The Key Aspects of Renouncing Darkness "Reliably":

• Supreme Archaeology progresses while you look for your Renounce
• Plot Twist means you can replace your hand instead of futilely tapping like a 2016 pleb. In fact, it will even help you complete your quest!
• Aranasi Broodmother lets you tap more boldly than before, all while never needing to be played
• The Soularium gives you steam with no downside if you transform the cards you've drawn before the end of the turn
• Curse of Weakness can be either used to stall your opponent, transformed, or a mix of both; the echo card gets transformed when you Renounce
• You can play many cards that cycle or otherwise replace themselves before you Renounce. Dark Peddler can give you Warlock cards to transform, Kobold Librarian cycles itself
• Impbalming shuffles 2 new cards into your deck this should be a downside, but with Renounce, those Worthless Imps become something else when Renounce hits
• Molest slower decks while gaining steam/getting closer to Renouncing thanks to Coldlight Oracle
• Use the miscellaneous crappy warlock cards to keep yourself alive during the depressing part of the game where you haven't Renounced

Bonus Memes:

Of course, your deck will sometimes be utter crap. That's all right, it just means you might want to pack some neutral punches into your deck as emergency buttons. Some of these include:

• Elise Starseeker - Can shuffle the map even before you Renounce, because it is not a Warlock card
• Yogg-Saron, Hope's End - Ah, yes, my old friend. Most of the time you cast a lot of spells, even after Renouncing, so you can put Yogg somewhere, I'm sure
• Archivist Elysiana - There will come many times when you will draw like a madman to Renounce, or even after doing so. Elysiana can keep you going with either 10 Warlock cards or (if you find a hero card) another class!
• Chef Nomi - Much like you can include Elysiana for drawing too much, you can put Nomi in for that same reason. Who knows, you might even be given ways to bounce him into your hand!

Changelog:

• -2 Shadow Bolt, +2 Impbalming. For only 1 extra mana, you get removal AND extra Renounce fuel.
• -2 Darkbomb, +2 Demonwrath. Just in case you're up against aggro, having 2 board clears might save you before Renouncing.
