Thrall look upon his troops, they were many, but even with Shudderwock, they were not able to deliver much damage. He was looking for some way to defeat his opponent, when he encountered a creepy Little Dude who told him about an Ancient Being.

Thrall was intrigued and looked into this ancient one, this, old god. he was told many things about summoning this old god by other creepy guys who were familiar with summoning this particular old god. and after a few turns of preparing, he was ready to begin the ritual

He had made many preparations. He made sure he was able to play multiple C'thuns, he had packed plenty of defensive plays, and with his loyal friend (pet?) Shudderwock, he was ready for anything!

He had to use some magic spells as well as some helpful minions to survive early on, but later had enough power to use his big guns. yes, he was ready to summon the Old God, but just before the ritual started, he turned around and saw something he did not expect.

Thrall asked in pure confusion, "Who, the heck, are you?" the random Panda guy responded in a soft voice, "I am Cho, and I am here to help". thrall didn't get it, "how. . .?"

"well, I make your opponent feel uncomfortable, they will make worse plays, and if they try and cast a spell, you will get it too. I do work the opposite way, but there are only nine instances where I could inconvenience you. More often than not, it is you who benefit."

"Alright then, if you insist." Thrall continued to summon the Old God, and after that he battered his opponent with Shudderwock after Shudderwock until his opponent was dead.

Thank you for reading, this is my first attempt at a 'story guide' and I hope you guys liked it. Please try the deck out and send feedback.

If you own a Lorewalker Cho and you don't want to play him, I advise you first to at least try him out and see what you think. But if you don't own him or just really don't want to play him, you could substitute him for any decent early game play to help us get to out combo.

I always loved C'Thun shenanigans! I think DoubleSummon makes a good point about some vanilla minions. I'd add the quest (it's fun! and powerful) then cut the Twilight Elders and Crazed Worshipper, since they aren't battlecries. Add Veklor, maybe cut Grumble and Dopplegangsters as well. Just go all in on C'Thun!

Really fun story element, too. I did one of those too, and I know how time consuming it is to plug in all those card references. Nice job!

I mainly like elders and worshipers because they fight for the board, but I could see you wanting to play a more battlecry-oriented deck.

I didn't have the quest when I built this deck, I don't know if you would want it though. Aside from a bigger C'thun, I don't think the quest does much. Losing a card just seems like to big a price.

Twin Emperor is a good choice, I don't have him, and unless you cut grumbles and doppelgangsters he isn't very good for shudderwock.

I don't know exactly what you would do if you do cut grumble and doppelgangsters. they give you infinite shudderwocks, which can potentially make you deal 60 damage just from shudderwocks copying C'thun! and then if that doesn't finish them then you have 10+ C'thuns in your deck that are at least 100/100. I just don't see why you would want to cut grumble and doppelgangsters.

I guess it comes down to whether you want to go for a massive C'Thun win, or an infinite Shudderwock win. The infinite Shudder can be super fun, but also inconsistent since he might Grumble before Doppel.

I feel more drawn to completing the Quest (which is worth the slot in your opening hand, and gives huge value later), then double-buffing C'thun with all his minions, then Shudderwocking for even more C'Thun buffs, then just playing a single huge C'Thun.

I also really like the idea of Cho. Stalling with clears like Earthquake and Hagatha's Scheme would work well, and giving them to your opponent would only stall longer, which is good for you. I might swap Devolve with Plague of Murlocs, since you'd rather Cho share that one.

good question, you only have 9 spells in the deck, most of the time that is less than your opponent has. and Far Sight, unlike your other spells, is never something you need right now. so there are really only 7 cards in your deck that is inconvenient for cho. And your opponent really doesn't want you to have cho. I have had people concede right after I play cho once or twice.

basically, if you don't cast spells for 2/3 turns, it wont hurt you as much as if your opponent doesn't cast spells for 2/3 turns. give him a chance, but if you don't like him you could put anything else you think is appropriate.

TBH I would replace half the deck throw out all the underpowered C'thun minions and all that are not battlecries, add quest, add the jade package, and add the veklor twins as well.

I don't think cho is good, at which ranks are you playing?

I am not playing this deck on ranked, it is marked as "just for fun". if you don't like the list that is fine, you don't have too. if you want to gut half the list and play a jade quest shaman, go for it.

you don't have to play Cho, if you want to change the list that is fine, this is just what I have been having fun with.

I mean.. with 4 C'thun buffers and card draw I got him pretty big with shudderwock (TBH the enemy played yogg's box and it banished my C'thun and shudderwock, then discounted it with bring it on).

I don't think you really need all those buffers you got shudderwock the 2 mana one and the 2/1 are enough plus quest cause why not? you are playing a heavy battlecry deck anyway, you can also run thaurrisan and have hero power + shudderwock for double C'thun battlecry/bufferswith omega defender you can have shudderwock do 16 damage without ever buffing C'thun.

Anyway thank you I finally crafted the shaman quest and I am having a blast best quest by a mile.

I don't think playing the vanilla stated C'thun buffers is fun...

I tried not to just add in random C'thun buffing minions, I tried to be strategic in what i chose. beckoner of evil and twilight elder are the only 'vanilla' minions, and I do like having them both because they are good stats to help the early game. crazed worshiper is there because he is a solid taunt, as well as c'thun buffs. and I run a single doomcaller just so that I can get more C'thuns in the deck.

I might try removing twilight elder and adding some other battlecry minion instead. about the quest, it does make you lose a card from your starting hand, and I am not sure exactly what it would do. you have the C'thun buffs, but usually you don't lose games because your c'thun is too small, and you have the healbot, but if you need more healing there might be simpler options, and you can use thaurison and get double shudderwock, but once you are able to play infinite shudderwocks, you have already won whether or not they have double battlecries.
