Corrupted Shudderwock

**Work in Progress, not fully optimized**

I know Shudderwock is the bane of many Hearthstone players' existence, ranking a little below Big Priest on the hate scale.  But despite this deck being very frustrating to play against, I have always really liked to play it.  I took a little inspiration from some card choices in Roflmano's Ultimate Shudderwock and finally got around to building my new Corrupted Shudderwock deck.

I especially liked the inclusion of cards like Spiked Hogrider and Leatherclad Hogleader.  I had never seen these in a single Shuddewock list and thought it was brilliant!  With these effects in play you can potentially win just off Shudderwock gaining Charge and then multiplying with the Doppelgangster effect.  I've only played a few games with this deck so far, but in one game I straight up won with charging Shudderwocks, and in another the charge effect allowed me to finish the game quicker without having two Lifedrinkers in play.

Plague of Murlocs is included as anti-Big Priest tech, however, it's come in handy against things like new Quest Jade Druid, transforming their big green meanies into cute murlocs before a Lightning Storm.  I feel like Eater of Secrets is a pretty obvious inclusion given Secret Mage's popularity, though I must say I'm not sure how well this Shudderwock deck will do against a Secret Mage.  May be too slow.

I'm sure a few other cards could be thrown in, such as Sandbinder to potentially draw Grumble, Worldshaker.  You could remove Quicksand Elemental or a 3 drop card as there are a lot of them in this deck.  Perhaps [Hearthstone Card (Farsight) Not Found] if you feel you don't need that extra card draw, or a Lightning Storm if you don't need the removal.  If you aren't playing a lot of big minion decks, the Plague could also be dropped.

Overall, this deck is still a typical Shudderwock combo at it's core!  However, playing the Fencing Coach the turn before Shudderwock after setting up the Grumble, Doppelgangster, and Lifedrinker combo will allow you to ensure your Grumble doesn't miss!  Because if that battlecry does activate first, you're sure to get it off the second time one!  This is also why I dropped Hagatha the Witch in favor of Primordial Drake.  If grumble misses the first time, I would hate for him to be too late the second time and have Hagatha clear the board before Shudder copies bounce back to my hand.  Yes, I included Potion Vendor as a way to counteract this, but with the double battlecry making multiple 1 mana Shudders returning to hand almost guaranteed, I find it best not to have Hagatha clogging my hand up as well.  For that same reason I've also cut things like Swampqueen Hagatha that add cards to my hand.  I've also gone with Bog Slosher over Zola the Gorgon.  However, these could be swapped if you prefer getting a golden card and reducing your tempo loss.  But Slosher on one of your Gangsters, then replayed with double battlecry for 5 mana 20/20 across 5 bodies isn't too bad.

Anyway, if you try it out, hope you enjoy the deck and have fun!

I wonder if you could build a shudderwock OTK where you use Midnight Drake, Leatherclad Hogleader, Coldlight Oracle, and Doppelgangster to just bash your opponent in one turn with a board full of giant shudderwocks! and you could also use Fencing Coach to make sure your shudderwocks have as much attack as possibe. the coldlight oracles would fill up your opponents hand so the hogriders would garuntee get charge, and they would also help fill your hand for the midnight drake.

I haven't played this much in the last week, but a lot of my wins came more from charging Shudderwocks than the old combo.  As mentioned, I did this build after seeing someone elses highlander list that included the two Hog Riders.  I forgot those cards even existed until seeing that list.  lol

I've been playing that exact deck [Hearthstone Card ((Omega Defender instead of Midnight Drake) and having a 46/6 with Charge is definitely cool (and the extra 6/6, 16/6, 26/6, 36/6 or 46/6 with Charge from Doppelgangster aren't too bad themselves).

I forgot about omega defender, she is definitely better. I don't own her but kinda wish I did for my shudderwock decks.
