A powerful aggressive tool, but it comes at the cost of a potential constant overload. Every time this attacks, it overloads a mana crystal. Coupled with windfury, this essentially gives it Overload (2) every turn, although it doesn't overload you on play.

This Week's Theme: The Price Of Power
We're looking for powerful minions this week - so powerful, in fact, that they come with a drawback to offset them.
- You must create a minion
- Your minion must have better than average stats or effects for its cost, with a drawback
- Examples include Flamewreathed Faceless and Vulgar Homunculus
- Note that merely having poor stats will not be considered a drawback.
For the purposes of this competition, Dormant is banned.

Dr. Boom wanted a guardian that would just get absolutely enraged if you tried to get past it. It seems he got some wires crossed in this first iteration.

This was once a really good boy; some would even say the best. He always managed to track down his master's prey and was very proud of it. But ever since he ate that strange angry squirrel from those even stranger spooky woods, a red haze of rage claims him when the hunt is on. And in the heat of the moment, he's no longer able to distinguish between friend and foe. To add insult to injury, the squirrel wasn't even that tasty.

An epic minion that can't attack but can protect you with it's strong body.
Silence may make this powerful warrior be a little bit more aggresive.

Maut is one of the bosses from the newest World of Warcraft raid, Ny'lotha, the Waking City. This minion fits Saviors of Uldum set since he has a connection to Tol'vir and also has Warlock theme from that expansion. You can play this card in a Zoolock, cause you will most likely draw cheap cards, so penalty from taking damage won't be that big. You can also play it in "self-damaging" Warlock with Diseased Vulture to make use of ths ability. Lastly this expansion also brought a quest that requires card draw and this minion does it perfectly (Use with caution).

A good defensive demon that don't like waiting enemy minions to come, so you better play him when the action is already rolling, else you'll piss him off!

The idea is that battlecries would trigger as normal, but then this would silence the minion and reduce its' stats. Silencing the minion can have some upside in Warlock to remove detrimental effects, but those passive effects have to be really good to still keep it around as a 1/1.
Didn't make it a Demon since getting it off of a high roll seems good, and getting it from Bloodreaver would [I believe] stack the triggers so that this would silence/weaken everything else you summon from the battlecry.

"King of the monsters! (and porchlights)" A kaiju-themed Beast that summons a second version of itself for your opponent. Let them fight! Great stats for the price, but you'll need to find some way to gain the upper-hand on your opponent's Insectoid if you want to take full advantage of this card.

I feel bad for choosing the meme statline but I felt like 4 Mana is the sweet spot for the effect to be a real drawback, and yet the minion to be a real threat. I also kept going back and forth with my thoughts about if the card is OP or not so I just left it as it is.

"Steals your soul, throws away your cards."
At the cost of casting Soulfire on yourself, you get a (1)-cost 4/4 that'll likely not succumb to most early-game removal spells. You'll also be able to deal with any pesky (1)-cost 2/2s or even early 3/4s with ease, providing Warlock a bit of extra time to get the engine running. If you'd rather play a discard deck, or even a self-damaging deck, then this card will also slot in neatly, triggering Amethyst Spellstone or getting rid of an early Hand of Gul'dan that you don't want to hold until turn 6.

"Don't worry, I got your back!"
-Imp before stabbing your back.
Pusillin is a demon that betrays you as soon as the match begins (what else can you expect from an imp). As a price of gaining a 29 card deck (which is quite an advantage in combo decks, see Patches the Pirate) you will give your opponent an overstatted minion that they can play on their turn 1.
Show SpoilerPusillin is a malevolent elite imp mini-boss residing in Dire Maul.

Although Soul Engines are constructs of the Burning Legion, used to harvest mortal souls and convert them into fuel for their war machines, a clever Warlock might instead harness a Soul Engine to empower himself. Like Mal'Ganis, the Immune effect is active until Soul Engine is destroyed. In my mind:
Pros:
- Immunity in a class that takes a lot of damage (but which can also benefit from self-inflicted damage - something that can't happen while this is alive).
- 7 Mana, so a cheap minion or token-generating spell can be played first to provide the sacrifice target.
- Beefy. If your opponent has no Silence, transformation effects, etc. and you can erect a sturdy Taunt wall, you might just live forever.
Cons:
- Sacrificing a minion, though admittedly, this is a fairly easy cost to offset depending on the deck. I bounced back and forth between A) Destroy a random friendly minion, B) Choose one friendly minion, and C) Choose two friendly minions. The first, I thought was too easy to neutralize; just drop it on an empty board! Destroying two minions I think would be too costly, especially if it's a slower Warlock deck that has mostly medium- to large-sized minions, or if your opponent simply clears your board every turn.
- 0 Attack. It's a pseudo Taunt, so not being able to weaken or destroy enemy minions attacking it is a negative.
- Weak to Silence, Poison, transform effects, Assassinate effects, etc., since it can be targeted by spells/minions.

In an alternate timeline of Draenor, the chief of the Blackrock Orc Clan, Blackhand, was embraced by the elements of his world, granting him fiery blood and encasing his fist in dark heavy stone. Encased in scorching metal armor, yet able to withstand it thanks to his elemental gifts, Blackhand oversaw a massive industrialist foundry that smelted the powerful blackrock ore into powerful weapons for the Iron Horde.
Blackhand can grant you improved weapons as well, but you must endure the pain of his cruelty and the heat of the forge that only he can withstand.

+1/+1 over Sen'jin Shieldmasta, but slower to attack because it has to thaw out first. Being a KFT card, there is inherent synergy with Moorabi; you can even play them on the same turn :D

Another boss from the Black Temple (like Illidan, Reliquary, and Gorefiend), Gurtogg can’t wait to fight. But he’s going to have to. He can’t appear in your opening hand, and if you shuffle your deck he’ll still go to the bottom. But if your deck is designed to go to fatigue, Gurtogg is a cheap and powerful minion to help close out the game. Or maybe you have a way to pull him out of your deck early to wreck havoc!

"We summoned seven originally, but when she came in, she took over the board and killed all but two of the others."
Untamed Devilsaur epitomises the archetypal wild beast. If you don't keep her placated with small minions, she's liable to attack her own player's face as often as she's wrecking the opponent's.
I based the statline on Fel Reaver, reasoning that the Devilsaur's downside is much more debilitating in the short term, and requires constant input on the player's part to counteract. I think this makes up for the 1 mana lower cost.

Two Eredar sisters who specialize in dark magic and battle together. They each attack once (hence Windfury, representing an attack from each sister), but demand a "payment".
If you're unsure how strong to make a card or how big a drawback to give it, try comparing to Vanilla (textless) minions of the same cost, or minions with only one keyword, to get a baseline powerlevel.
