This Week's Theme: Lost In Battle
Mankrik isn't the only one capable of sending people on Quests - let's see what else we can do here!
- You must create a Quest or Sidequest for the Forged in the Barrens expansion
- That's the Quest mechanic - like The Last Kaleidosaur - but with an appropriately Barrens themed requirement and reward

In World of Warcraft, "Your Fortune Awaits You..." is a quest which requires you visit the Wailing Caverns, and rewards a Mysterious Lockbox. The lockbox tends to have an assortment of food and a piece of gear of dubious quality. Seems fair!

Token Druid wasn't pushed for the Barrens, I'm aware of that. However, I think it goes better with the general game-plan of the Druid if you look at the recent expansions and the Core set overall. And besides, you've got Thorngrowth Sentries, Plaguemaw the Rotting, and Deviate Dreadfang for your Token needs!
As for the Reward, the Horn of Hamuul goes perfectly with his great-nephew, Guff Runetotem: collect a bunch of Nature spells, play Guff, then buff all the Tokens the Quest had you summon :D Arbor Up is the high-roll we're looking for, although Nourish and/or Cenarion Ward aren't bad either.

Support card for Miracle Rogue that fits in nicely with Mana cheating via Scabbs Cutterbutter and Efficient Octo-bot from FitB. Combined with Field Contact, Foxy Fraud and Shadowstep shenanigans, your opponent is in for some big surprises. The Hero Power helps to get your power houses like Jandice Barov and Alexstrasza the Life-Binder out early and with Combo effects.

Only "awake" minions, or those who have a green border around them at the end of the turn count. Playing a Rush/Charge minion but not attacking that turn counts for example. Things that say "Can't attack" do not count, nor do minions with 0 Attack.

"call in the Guardians" - If you already control a Paladin Secret on the battlefield at the time of using King's Syndicate, add a copy of Guardian of Kings to your hand.

Most Deathrattle Demon Hunter cards are related to the Death Head's clan, who adore Agamaggan's head.

Bring the End is the Horde quest in which players must defeat Amnennar, the Coldbringer, the final boss of Razorfen Downs, and retrieve his skull. I was a tad disappointed to see that some of the other bosses, like Mordresh Fire Eye and Plaguemaw the Rotting, got representation while the final boss isn't seen at all.
The quest can be completed with Altar of Fire, Soul Rend, Tickatus, and Shadowlight Scholar or Void Drinker if you have Soul Fragments in your deck.

After winning in Mak'gora you get a new ability, Saurfang branded.
Note: I know you cannot trigger minion you got immediately, that is intentional to reduce power level

"Frost specialists may give you the cold shoulder, but they're actually pretty chill". Specialize in Frost is a Mage quest that requires the user to harness the power of ice and cast Frost spells. Once completed the user receives Ice Blast, an upgraded Hero Power that can also freeze anyone unfortunate enough to get in its way. This Quest and reward benefit all of the Mage synergies featured in Forged in the Barrens: Spell schools, Hero Powers, and Freeze.

A Priest Quest that focuses on the duality light/dark flavor of Priest. It has two different requirements and whichever Hero Power you get first is dependent on which part of the Quest you finish last. Fulfilling the Holy spells requirement last will give you Holy Beam first and fulfilling the Shadow spells requirement last will give you Shadow Beam first. At the start of your turn, you will swap to the other Hero Power.

A simple ramp Sidequest, but has excellent synergy with Celestial Alignment - if CA is the 4th spell you play, you'll start with 1 Mana instead of 0 and get to play a card right away!

A top-down, flavor based design of the Horde setting up settlements in the barrens.
I put Rokara's ability as the requirement, as her story is about her training as part of the horde. It also represents the Horde taking over territory. Summoning watch posts as part of the reward represents the Horde setting up defenses.
It's pretty open ended, but it could help control Warrior decks and give new life to watch posts, including ones that may come out in the future. Cards like Warmaul Challenger can help advance the quest quickly. It rewards controlling the board and triggering frenzy upon attacking. Plus, it could make Kargal Battlescar playable.

Theme of this expansion is not only the Barrens, but also shards of the Naaru scattered around the zone and those, who are willing to claim them. Warlocks are known to twist and corrupt everything they touch, so it is obvious that these remnants will not stay pure.
In WoW lore there was an occurence in Warlords of Draneor expansion, where the entire Naaru was corrupted and transformed into a being of Void. So that is why I was inspired to create this quest.
"Banish all minions to the Twisting Nether" works exactly like The Amazing Reno, but the text had to fit the Warlock flavour.
Warlock mechanics from the expansion are included (Shadow spells and empty deck).
Take a look at what each class received for Forged in the Barrens - and the mini-set - to judge what might make a good Quest requirement.
Consider incorporating things brand new to the expansion, like Quillboars or Frenzy, and don't forget to use the appropriate expansion watermark!
