Welcome, fellow achievement hunter.

Ever since the introduction of the rewards track, each expansion has always brought us a handful of achievements to complete in order to gain more rewards: while some of them are relatively easy to complete, some others may take some time or a proper set up. In case you're wondering what's the best way to gain all that sweet sweet XP locked behind Murder at Castle Nathria's achievements, do not fret, as we have the answer you're looking for!

In this guide we'll focus our attention on the Castle Nathria Rogue achievements and provide at least one way to complete each of them so that you'll be able to get closer to the end of your reward track.

Disclaimer: as always, all expansion achievements can be completed in Ranked Standard, Ranked Wild, Arena, Casual & Heroic Duels and Classic - Casual Standard, Casual Wild and Tavern Brawl will not count towards your hunt! Moreover, we'll always take Ranked Standard as the default game format for our strategies: if we happen to have some strategies or particular interactions belonging to other modes to highlight, we'll be sure to specify it.

Here are all the achievements we're going to complete together:

  1. *Muffled Screams* - Kidnap 50 minions.
  2. At What Point Is It Just a Sword? - Equip a Dagger with 12 or more attack with Necrolord Draka.
  3. Tales From the Crypt - Summon 50/100/150 Ghosts with Sinstone Graveyard.
  4. The WHOLE Truth?! - Cast 25/50 Secrets with Perjury.

    Castle Nathria Rogue Achievements Overview

On easy achievement (At What Point Is It Just a Sword?), a medium one (*Muffled Screams*) and a really grindy one (Tales from the Crypt) await Rogue in Castle Nathria. The funny thing is that all the three Rogue achievements have points in common, so they can be completed with pretty much the same list, which makes cross-achievement hunting extremely easy.

Edit: guide updated with the achievement from the Maw and Disorder Mini-Set.

How to Complete the "*Muffled Screams*" Rogue Achievement

    • Requirement: Kidnap 50 minions.
    • Speed Rating: 3/5.
    • XP Points Rewarded: 200 XP
    • Related Achievements:
      • Rogue's Tales from the Crypt - You'll play lots of cards, so you'll get some value off Sinstone Graveyard; moreover, 150 procs are a lot, so you should definitely run the Location in every deck you can.

Long story short, *Muffled Screams* asks you to trigger the Kidnap Secret 50 times: nothing more, nothing less. In order to achieve so, we found a rather interesting strategy revolving around Door of Shadows, one of the new cards from the Murder at Castle Nathria expansion.

    • This deck features Door of Shadows and Kidnap as the only two spells, meaning that Door will always draw either itself or the Kidnap you need for *Muffled Screams*.
    • In case you are able to Infuse Door of Shadows, you'll even get an additional copy of one of the new aforementioned spells.
      • In case you draw Door off of the Infused Door, then you may Infuse the drawn one a second time so that you'll get access to additional Kidnaps.
    • In order for all this Infuse plan to work, we built a list with a high focus on minions and card generation, so that you'll have a chance to Discover additional copies of Kidnap.
    • If you do not own some of the cards on the list, feel free to include what you prefer, but it is mandatory that Door of Shadows and Kidnap remain the only two spells in the deck.

How to Complete the "At What Point Is It Just a Sword?" Rogue Achievement

To put it simple, in order to complete At What Point Is It Just a Sword? you need to play 11 cards and then drop Necrolord Draka. As we see it, you'll need a Miracle deck with lots of cheap tools and card draw - fortunately for us, Rogue has both.

A final heads up: since you need to play 11 cards and then Necrolord Draka, you'll understand that you'll need to generate and play cards in the same turn in order to complete At What Point Is It Just a Sword?. For this reason, it would be clever for you to try to plan at least one turn ahead, so that you'll have higher chances to pull off such a big Miracle turn in a single go.

How to Complete the "Tales From the Crypt" Rogue Achievement

    • Requirement: Summon 50/100/150 Ghosts with Sinstone Graveyard.
    • Speed Rating: 1/5.
    • XP Points Rewarded: 100, 100 and 500 XP
    • Related Achievements: none.

Tales from the Crypt asks you a relatively easy thing to do: play Sinstone Graveyard a bunch and trigger its effect. Although 150  triggers are a lot, here's a very competitive list for you to complete Tales From the Crypt while winning some games.

How to Complete the "The WHOLE Truth?!" Rogue Achievement

    • Requirement: Cast 25/50 Secrets with Perjury.
    • Speed Rating: 2/5
    • XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
    • Related Achievements:

Very, very slow achievement: Perjury takes two turns to generate a single Secret and, unless you're able to get additional copies of it, you'll need to repeat the same process twice for 25 games straight. It's nothing particularly difficult, but it's just a bit on the slow side.

In order to improve our completion rate, we're going to use Door of Shadows as the only spell other than Perjury in our deck: this way, Door will either draw itself of Perjury, generating a copy of the drawn card in case you Infused it first.
