Welcome, fellow achievement hunter.

Ever since the introduction of the rewards track, each expansion has always brought us a handful of achievements to complete in order to gain more rewards: while some of them are relatively easy to complete, some others may take some time or a proper set up. In case you're wondering what's the best way to gain all that sweet sweet XP locked behind March of the Lich King's achievements, do not fret, as we have the answer you're looking for!

In this guide we'll focus our attention on the March of the Lich King Druid achievements and provide at least one way to complete each of them so that you'll be able to get closer to the end of your reward track.

Disclaimer: as always, all expansion achievements can be completed in Ranked Standard, Ranked Wild, Arena, Casual & Heroic Duels and Classic - Casual Standard, Casual Wild and Tavern Brawl will not count towards your hunt! Moreover, we'll always take Ranked Standard as the default game format for our strategies: if we happen to have some strategies or particular interactions belonging to other modes to highlight, we'll be sure to specify it.

Here are all the achievements we're going to complete together:

  1. Wither? You Killed Her! - Destroy 25 minions with Wither.
  2. Get Rekht - Spend 50/100/200 Armor on minions with Anub'Rekhan's effect.
  3. Baby's First Scourge - Resurrect 7 minions with one Unending Swarm.

March of the Lich King Druid Achievements Overview

Druid players, rejoice: Malfurion's set of achievements for the March of the Lich King expansion is very affordable. Moreover, Wither? You Killed Her! has significant chances to be completed even if you don't own Wither, courtesy of the many Discover cards Standard has to offer.

How to Complete the "Wither? You Killed Her!" Druid Achievement

    • Requirement: Destroy 25 minions with Wither.
    • Speed Rating: 3/5.
    • XP Points Rewarded: 200 XP
    • Related Achievements:
      • Druid's Baby's First Scourge - Unending Swarm is a reliable (yet a bit expensive) way to control many Undead at the same time, increasing Wither's effectiveness.
      • Neutral's Blight of the Scourge.
      • Neutral's Look at All Those Chickens! - Foul Egg is a sticky Undead that costs just 1 mana and that your opponent will probably leave alive.
      • Neutral's Corpse Pile.

Disclaimer: this achievement is currently bugged. To be more precise, Wither? You Killed Her will progress only if you control enough Undead to "overkill" the targeted unit.
Example: if you control 3 Undead and you use Wither on a 3-Health minion, Wither? You Killed Her won't progress. However, if you control 3 Undead and you use Wither on a 2-Health minion, you'll get a progression point.

In order for this achievement to be completed as fast as possible, there are a few conditions that need to be met. However, the most important one is that you need to run an Undead-heavy list: the more Undead you can play, the easier it will be for you to "dismantle" a minion.

    • Wither and Dew Process are the only Nature spells in your deck: Widowbloom Seedsman will draw either of them, meaning that you'll either get your hands on the one card you actually want to cast or you'll be able to churn through your deck with more ease.
    • Prioritize building your board rather than going face or winning the game: with the bug going on, you don't want to make things even more complicated.
    • Wither can target both friendly and enemy units: this piece of information will turn out to be useful more than you might think.
      • Opponents rarely want to cooperate with us!
    • Once the number of Undead minions on your side of the board equals or surpasses a unit's Health total, cast Wither on said unit.

If you're on a budget, Druid has access to several Discover cards, meaning that you can generate copies Wither with various degrees of success. Yes, it will take a lot more time, but at least you won't have to spend your precious dust!

How to Complete the "Get Rekht" Druid Achievement

    • Requirement: Spend 50/100/200 Armor on minions with Anub'Rekhan's effect.
    • Speed Rating: 3/5 in Standard, 4/5 in Wild.
    • XP Points Rewarded: 200 XP
    • Related Achievements:
      • Paladin's Blood Bank - As strange as it may sound, Blood Bank doesn't track just the damage you receive from your cards while playing Paladin, but with other classes too! Moreover, for some reason Anub'Rekhan's Battlecry counts as self-damage: I completed both Get Rekht and Blood Bank in a single sitting and with a single deck, so too may want to abuse this bug feature before it gets fixed!
      • Neutral's Blight of the Scourge
      • Neutral's Skin Care Routine - It's Undead, it costs a bunch of mana and it's basically free for everyone.

    • Try to get into your Anub'Rekhan turn with as much Armor as possible, so that you'll be able to have some Brann Bronzebeard/Zola the Gorgon shenanigans.
    • Astalor Bloodsworn makes the cut for two reasons: it generates units for you to spend your Armor on and, under the right circumstances, enables OTK scenarios.

As you might understand, Wild Druid can generate Armor at a far higher degree, so Get Rekht will be easier over there.

How to Complete the "Baby's First Scourge" Druid Achievement

    • RequirementResurrect 7 minions with one Unending Swarm.
    • Speed Rating: 5/5.
    • XP Points Rewarded: 100, 100 and 500 XP
    • Related Achievements:
      • Neutral's Blight of the Scourge.
      • Neutral's Armed and Dangerous.
      • Neutral's Look at All Those Chickens!.
      • Neutral's Corpse Pile.

A laughably easy achievement for any class, but Druids makes things even more trivial for you. Here's the most efficient strategy for you to complete Baby's First Scourge with:

    • Build a deck with Unending Swarm as your most expensive card.
    • Include at least one Capture Coldtooth Mine, so that you'll be able to tutor Swarm whenever you want.
    • The remaining slots of your deck are dedicated to 1/2-drops and card draw.

Done: there's nothing more to it, really.
