Alternate Heroes are cosmetics designed to replace the default Hero portrait of the class. These alternate skins do not affect the gameplay, but merely add visual diversity to the game. All of them, apart from the 1000-win alternate portrait of the default hero, come with a unique set of emotes, and plenty of them also have their own thematic card backs. In this guide, we'll explain how to obtain Warrior's alternate Heroes which can be used to replace the default Hero, Garrosh Hellscream.

For Warrior, nineteen alternate Hero skins exist:

How to Obtain Annhylde in Hearthstone

Annhylde is one of the Val'kyr that made a pact with Sylvanas Windrunner, sacrificing herself to bring Sylvanas back to life.

The skin could be obtained by reaching level 25 of Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Reward Track while owning the Tavern Pass.

The skin came with a special card back.

How to Obtain Corrupt Garrosh in Hearthstone

Corrupt Garrosh is the alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream. Lore-wise, he was the son of Grommash Hellscream and the successor of Thrall as the Warchief of the Horde.

The skin can be obtained by reaching 1000 wins with Warrior in Ranked or Arena game modes. The skin was first introduced in the Doom in the Tomb patch on October 8th, 2019.

Contrary to the other alternate Heroes, Corrupt Garrosh does not have a unique set of emotes.

How to Obtain Deathwing in Hearthstone

Deathwing was one of the five Dragon Aspects and the leader of the black dragonflight until he fell to madness due to the Old Gods' corruption.

The skin was obtainable as a part of Descent of Dragons Mega Bundle pre-order. This bundle was purchasable for $79.99 USD from November 5th, 2019 until the expansion launch on December 10th, and included 100 Descent of Dragons packs and a random Golden Legendary from the expansion.

As part of the bundle, a special card back was obtainable as well. However, the card back was also obtainable with the $49.99 pre-order which did not include the Hero skin.

The skin and card back returned to the shop on December 7th, 2021 and could be purchased for $14.99 until December 13th.

How to Obtain Defiant Rokara in Hearthstone

Defiant Rokara is another version of the Hearthstone-original Warrior hero, Rokara.

The skin could be obtained as a part of Defiant Rokara Bundle. This bundle was purchasable for $9.99 USD from March 17th, 2022 until March 29th, and it included 5 Warrior Class packs.

How to Obtain Forge-wrought Garrosh in Hearthstone

Forge-wrought Garrosh is another alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream.

The skin was obtainable as a part of The Rusted Raiders Bundle or as a standalone skin. The bundle was purchasable for $29.99 USD and the single skin for $6.99 USD from November 16th, 2021 until December 6th.

The Rusted Raiders bundle also included a special card back that could also be obtained by buying the Infernal Armor Illidan Hero Set.

How to Obtain Garrosh of Might in Hearthstone

Garrosh of Might is another alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream.

The skin can be picked as a reward from 10 options unlocked by reaching level 50 of Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Reward Track or level 100 of the subsequent expansions' Reward Tracks.

How to Obtain Garrosh of Wrath in Hearthstone

Garrosh of Wrath is another alternate version of the default hero Garrosh Hellscream clad in World of Warcraft's Tier 2 armor Battlegear of Wrath.

The skin can be picked as a reward from 10 options unlocked by the Tavern Regular achievement. The achievement has ten tiers, with a new tier unlocked at every 200 overall levels in reward tracks.

Garrosh the Wild is another alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream.

The skin was obtainable as a part of the Blooming Flower Bundle. The bundle was purchasable for $9.99 from February 15th, 2022 until March 1st.

Greatfather Winter Magni is an alternate version of the Warrior hero Magni Bronzebeard.

The skin was obtainable as a part of the Greatfather Winter Magni Hero Set. The set was purchasable for $9.99 from December 21st, 2021 for a limited time, and it included a special card back.

How to Obtain Lü Bu Garrosh in Hearthstone

Lü Bu Garrosh is another alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream. The skin has been inspired by the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

The skin was obtainable as a part of Three Kingdoms Mini Bundle ($14.99 USD) and Three Kingdoms Bundle ($24.99 USD). These bundles were purchasable from February 9th, 2021 until February 19th.

How to Obtain Magni Bronzebeard in Hearthstone

Magni Bronzebeard was the ruler of the kingdom of Khaz Modan before turning into diamond during an ancient ritual. He now serves as the speaker of Azeroth's titan spirit. He is the older brother of Muradin and Brann Bronzebeard.

The skin could be purchased as a standalone item from the in-game shop for $9.99 USD from when it was first introduced on June 15th, 2015 until the skin rotated out of the shop on December 10th, 2019.

The skin came with a special card back.

The skin and card back returned to the shop on May 25th, 2021 and can be purchased for 1500 gold or $9.99. On June 3rd the offer changed to 1800 gold only.

How to Obtain Nagrand Garrosh in Hearthstone

Nagrand Garrosh is another, young alternate version of the default hero, Garrosh Hellscream.

The skin could be obtained as a part of Nagrand Garrosh Bundle. This bundle was purchasable for $9.99 USD from December 16th, 2020 until December 28th, and it included 5 Warrior Class packs.

The skin returned to the shop on November 23rd, 2021 and could be purchased with 1000 gold or $6.99 until November 30th.

How to Obtain Pirate King Garrosh in Hearthstone

Pirate King Garrosh is another alternate version of the default hero Garrosh Hellscream.

The skin could be claimed for free as part of the Hallow's End celebrations from October 19th, 2021 until November 9th.

Shipwrecked Magni is an alternate version of the Warrior hero Magni Bronzebeard, inspired by the Voyage to the Sunken City expansion.

How to Obtain Sire Denathrius in Hearthstone

Sire Denathrius is one of the Eternal Ones of Shadowlands, Warcraft's afterlife. He created the realm of Revendreth and acted as the ruler of its inhabitants, the Venthyr, until he was overthrown by Prince Renathal.

The skin can be obtained as a part of Murder at Castle Nathria Mega Bundle pre-order. This bundle is purchasable for $79.99 USD from June 27th, 2022 until the expansion launch on August 2nd, and includes 80 Murder at Castle Nathria packs, 5 golden Murder at Castle Nathria packs,  two random Golden Legendary cards from the expansion, 10 Mercenaries packs, and "Sandy Shores" Battlegrounds board.

How to Obtain Tavern Pass Rokara Skins in Hearthstone

Young Rokara, Recruit Rokara, and Rokara of the Horde are all alternative versions of the Hearthstone-original Warrior mercenary, Rokara.

The skins could be obtained by reaching the following levels of Forged in the Barrens Reward Track while owning the Tavern Pass:

• Young Rokara: level 5.
• Recruit Rokara: level 40.
• Rokara of the Horde: level 100.

How to Obtain Vanndar Stormpike in Hearthstone

Vanndar Stormpike is the leader of the Stormpike Expedition in Alterac Valley.

The skin was obtainable as a part of Fractured in Alterac Valley Mega Bundle pre-order. This bundle was purchasable for $79.99 USD from November 16th, 2021 until the expansion launch on December 7th, and it included 80 regular and 5 golden Fractured in Alterac Valley packs, Battlegrounds Perks, 5 Mercenaries packs, a random Legendary Mercenary, and two random Golden Legendaries from the expansion.

As part of the bundle, a special card back was obtainable as well. However, the card back was also obtainable with the $49.99 pre-order which does not include the Hero skin.
