This expansion of cards is a part of the Call of the Mountain set.
Monuments of Power is the third Legends of Runeterra Expansion. It released on October 14, 2020.
- The set contains 3 new Champions.
- In total, 40 new cards are being added to the game.
New Features
- Landmark - A new type of card!
- You cast a landmark using your normal mana pool.
- Landmarks are cards that stay on your board, using an available slot, but cannot attack or defend.
- Landmarks provide you with a passive bonus as long as they remain in play.
- Some Call of the Mountain cards are being reworked to include targeting Landmarks.

I find it very interesting that every region got an epic landmark except Demacia, who got Kadregrin the Infernal and Ionia, who got Trevor Snoozebottom. I can get Kadregrin -- he synergizes with Shyvana so there's incentive to release him now -- but Snoozebottom seems rather lame which makes me think Ionia's landmark is really badass and they made a conscious decision to delay it until December for some reason.
I went woohoo when I saw Star Springs, Soraya is going to see a lot of play with Bilgewater and their new sodomists, maybe Noxus as well.
