I'd like to make it very clear that if you end up or continue being rude to people for no particular reason (and downvoting content and/or comments in any retaliation also falls under that umbrella; we can generally find out who/what/where), then I cannot really guarantee you'll be able to keep the account around and active.

What you're supposed to care about or not is really up to you, but it would be overbearing if we all announced that every time when not asked. As it stands, there are plenty of players who do care, and these things take time and creative energy to make happen. Even if it's not your thing, worthy of at least some respect.

Not everyone, no. You are among the chosen ones. I hear there's been some interesting questions asked.

Indeed. Thanks for noticing and bringing it to our attention, fixed a little while ago!

I'd agree that their recent events leave a lot to be desired, although it doesn't seem as terrible as the Halloween's one at a glance (if still not very good). Although I reserve the right to change my opinion after some more painful experiences.

Ah yes, forgot to mention some final #updates with links, VoDs, decks, recaps, and such. No accidental spoilers unless you specifically click for them to be shown. All in all, it was a pretty interesting and unique event to follow.

Do mind that they also only had the Twitch Drops enabled for the first 6 hours, even though the broadcast and the showmatches lasted for well over 7h. So anyone joining in very late would've been out of luck anyway. Not much foresight went into setting up this campaign.

At least it'd turned out to be "only" a Castle Nathria pack for today.

#Update: The initial Blizzard blog post contained (it's been updated by now) wrong information about the featured Twitch Drops. Surprise, surprise, and all that. Our article has been updated with the correct info (1 Castle Nathria pack for Day 1; 1 March of the Lich King pack for Day 2), plus some other event details.

Also a note on the previously unknown new expansion cards accidentally being revealed via random generation effects: we've been keeping track of those. Live gameplay as always being unpredictable!

#Update 2: Twitch Drops only getting enabled for the first 6 hours, even though the broadcast has technically lasted longer. No good for anyone arriving near the end.

Perhaps it's time to explore other Dragon classes as well. If there is even anything beyond Paladin...

That was certainly some quality advice. And definitely the recommended way for anyone trying to catch up before the event is over (assuming the main quest chain already completed).

In their own sets technically: Path of Arthas and Core. As the expansion packs for Lich King will only contain 10 DK cards total.

    Quote From NebuchadnezzarHS

    From the 24.6 Patch Notes:

[Quests] Some Daily and Weekly Quests will now include an arrow at the bottom. Press this arrow to be taken directly to the part of the client where that Quest can be completed.

Off-topic, the unfortunate thing for me is that I am no longer receiving daily nor weekly quests since this patch, but that is a totally different issue.

Uhh, how is that even possible, they've managed to break something in very specific cases? I haven't seen it reported yet.

Yeah, not so much. If there is one thing Flux never did benefit from is their corporate love. You don't need to look far for proof. And arguably it might've been a far more sound business move to play ball from the get go and just fall in line, especially where long-term profits are involved.

Mind that Hearthstone team is rather quick to call out people and look down upon their actions if it's not to their liking (or just sulk), even as they are themselves technically still supporting Activision and making them money despite their own personal beliefs expressing distaste for the leadership. Nobody has much of a superior moral hill to stand on there.

Also, you can clearly see the difference between the old and the new. Ben Brode & other devs are now at Second Dinner with Marvel Snap, and they literally have a channel on their *official* Discord called #spoiler-leaks with info from 3rd party sites. They let people discuss and even occasionally engage with them through cryptic comments.

You might be onto something, and we have a day of Frost Rune cards ahead of us. With Frostmourne these days, I'm also not convinced. There weren't good conditions for expensive weapons for a longer while. But maybe if DKs can gain health and stall, you could justify face tanking larger minions. Although there is always that temptation to just hit your opponent straight for 5...

We have done just that actually with the end of Symbiote season warning and all the other advice! As you can see by following that link. Perhaps it just got lost among Hearthstone constantly delivering on all cylinders, if you were mainly checking the frontpage and not filtered by game-specific news.

One way or another, this must've definitely created some confusion among people from what we saw and didn't go down all too well, since the Battle.net tweets appear to have now been deleted. Throwing out any fake/custom/other cards right during the reveal season is risky when you are the official account with a wide platform; it's the kind of lessons we have already seen in the past.

The people in the know and the dedicated players (like most around these parts) will be always able to tell things apart, but this might not carry over to anyone who maintains only a very superficial connection to the game. Or those press outlets that don't cover Hearthstone regularly, but might mistakenly jump on the opportunity with "look how crazy stupid overwpowered cards they made!!!" while never researching the context (you'd be surprised how many of those are there on the world wide web).

I'm sure it was well-intentioned and harmless (in their minds) fun by Blizz, just didn't quite land with the awkward timing. If they have only thought to wait for a better moment, could've been a good nostalgic joke with no strings attached.

However you view this whole mishap (I forgot to laugh and mainly just rolled my eyes once everyone on social media started reposting this and going 'huh?'). We could debate the merits of what is and isn't misinformation; the initial tweet arguably treaded that fine line, while meant well. Personally I wouldn't want to see a precedent where it's suddenly okay to randomly go "hey check out these new cards, haha, not really" because we just wouldn't see the end of it.

It didn't make me angry or anything, there are ambivalent feelings at most; seemingly as with most of the audience out there. But we're all bound to have some different perspectives on this whole thing depending on our involvement. Shrug it off, didn't quite work. Making fun of them for this strangely timed attempt, fair game too.

It was an unfortunate part of the heat of the moment reaction, and I certainly understand how it would be off-putting. Not everyone approves of certain bluntness. I appreciate the level-headed approaches I get to see here and there, even when personal perspectives might differ.
