Conquest is how it always should have been. This new shielded format is a nice twist. I'd be willing to bet a sizable preorder for the December set that viewership will improve dramatically compared to Season 1.
I play that deck Finley is eminently replaceable by another Murloc with a good body. I only get to play him with his Battlecry about 20% of the time, if that. More often than not, he gets sucked into play by Tip the Scales.
He was the big signature card of a set. It's hard for Blizzard to nerf it without looking dumb. I agree that he could use it, but I'm saying that they will be hard pressed to as a matter of optics.
This needs to be part of a template full of useful links for every fan created card competition on OoC. This is the kind of documentation I write in IT professionally. (Screenshots, treat the user as brand new.) Nice work!
Very ambitious attempt by Blizzard on this card. Designs like this are what took me from "I'm not sure if I'm going to preorder at all, or maybe just the small one" to "I can scrape up the extra cash for the big order.. can't I?".
While I still have a few concerns regarding the direction of the game as a whole, it's heartening to see them show some due care to how their top tier of competition is being conducted.
Though a part of me cannot but wonder how much of this was motivated by quitting by some (Dog, etc.) versus the high degree of community feedback.
I look forward to actually wanting to watch GM casts again.
I don't need a massive Dragon boner. But even some thematic tie backs would be nice. Inconspicuosaurus basically hit it.
I don't want Dragons on every card, but even some tiebacks to the flights would be nice. Rise of Shadows had a few Dragons in it, but little thematic tie back. And Saviors looks to be more Titan and undeath themed, which makes sense for Uldum and the Tanaris Desert. But again, not even really a nod.
Mammoth and Raven at least had some stuff. I'm simply stating some disappointment at the lack thereof at the same time in the cycle. And I don't think that unreasonable.
I ain't complaining about these cards in particular, but is anybody else disappointed by the lack of Dragon emphasis in the Year of the Dragon? There were rather few in Rise of Shadows and so far, Saviors looks even thinner there.
Because I want to see Finley slap someone with a sturdy fish like in the promo. Well, the art *is* hysterical. But the main reason on power-level is that upgraded hero powers were (almost) meta-warping with the time of Odd decks. Something that discovers a piece of that power could be incredibly sweet.
Aren't we already only a step or so from there with common Warrior decks? There is a strong emphasis on the use if Rush minions to help maintain control of a board as is. Swap a few out for the Taunt support being printed for SoU and you're kind of already there.. no
That and this would trigger any "When you summon..." effects.
Edit: Hey geniuses throwing the downvotes; feel free to put up an example of my being wrong. I would mention Steward of Darkshire and Muster for Battle as an interaction where it works literally the exact same way. Same goes for SoD with Stand Against Darkness.

Wow. Literally nobody said that. Simmer down, incel.

Exactly. Like so many people in life, he does better at being himself than imitating somebody else.
You guys are absolutely killing it. This site is rising fast to surpass that.. other place, that'll remain nameless.
Huge kudos to Flux, Frosty, Link & company. You guys are doing great.

I think that after how Flux was treated by OoC's chief competitor, that laughing at their ineptitude is quite understandable.
They actually listened. Thank the gods..

Well, at least one person got it.

Sir Finley of the Sands

Yes, but Rogue is explicitly supposed to be bad at board clears, per Blizzard and their much ballyhooed Class Identity Guidelines.
Okay, the sombrero is just flair/artistic license. My point is that mummified kids, like King Tutankhamun, were a thing.
Edit: I just want you guys to know that when you downvote me for something factual, I find you funny and not annoying.
It's historically accurate that some children were mummified.
Recruit doesn't trigger "when you summon" effects. Go test it out. We'll wait for you.

Credit to Blizz on the theming. But seriously.. super time lapse sand reveal? That's tedious AF.
