Sure. But that's a lot of cards. I'm just talking about the here and now. Like, who the hell thought that Banana Buffoon would be relevant when they printed Rastakhan's Rumble?
That was my thought too. But then, what do they really get out of it that's relevant at the point in the game where they get the reward? Cyclone Mage wants to barrage off spells quickly.
But 10 spells deep is when you get the reward, so you've definitely fired off at least one salvo to get there. Then what? I suppose on the chance that you've exhausted that salvo, and what you for back off of Mana Cyclone, then MAYBE it's relevant.
But that's a lot of caveats and addenda for something that you want to feel is a suitable reward for the effort. And that strikes me as too inconsistent to be competitive. Sweet memes, but..
Upon further consideration, the thing I'd want to use the Mage quest for is straight up too slow. Like with the new Warlock quest, it feels like you're going to need specific deckbuilding and a little luck. Unless something new and specifically relevant hits the Mage pool in SoM, I don't know how useful Raid the Sky Temple is.
Exactly. That was always the fear with this new format and it's being shown as being a serious problem for viewership. I love this game, but seriously hearing a caster say "Well, if you love that Rogue vs. Mage matchup, we are headed for the third one today. Stay tuned..."
And it's not like they're different kinds of decks in each of their own classes. Every Mage on the GM tour is Cyclone Giants. Rogue at least has some variance, but there's about a 20-24 card core that doesn't seem to move but between primary/secondary/tertiary decks.
Agreed. After bleeding 2800 to the single player content, I was really hoping for double gold. Still, at least what they did set up looks really decent
I can see where you're coming from. While Dave Kosak has said in the intervening span of our posts that it wasn't about ratings, I'm kind of glad. I don't really know how accessible this game is to a kid in that age range, and I have one. They can follow the game.. kind of. But tactical nuance is lost and that's kind of a big deal beyond the most casual level of players
I get modern opinion. I get dealing with gratuitous sexuality. But sheesh, talk about overkill.
Maybe I'm the weird one. I'd figure that if boobs and butts are a big deal.. just add more bare chested dudes and guy butts. Don't kill the Succubus. Make an Incubus.
Done is done. And ultimately it really doesn't matter much. It certainly doesn't change the game. Just.. this strikes me as silly.
You're fine, friend! If Blizzard holds to their current release timing (and I suspect they'd have a full on riot if they changed it now), you have at least 6 more weeks to save up again.
It's the first bundle in awhile that I will pass up. But that's mostly because I am a Standard player almost exclusively. I also have about 7k in dust that I'm just sitting on. And I have spent a fair bit of money on pre-orders and small bundles this past year. Gotta let some of them go. Especially when I don't really need what is on offer.
Wish the hero skin was Mage, Hunter, or Warrior. I already have two alt skins for Shaman. And I’m trying to avoid Shaman as it’s the only class I have my golden hero for. I’m way over the 500 wins for that class and in some I’m only around half way!
With the current Dalaran themed expansion a Mage hero would have been better (like making Khadgar available again...?).
This. I'd love another shot to get Khadgar, Tyrande or even something that has less than 2 skins already. (Pally, Shaman) I'd even take something new and Kirin Tor themed like Rhonin.
As someone who has watched this from both a business and an HS fan perspective, I am thoroughly disgusted by how Flux and team were treated. I am here happily, and will spread the word. I will also see if I can scrape together a few bucks to hit Patreon or even do a one time donation on Twitch.
The staff team is a good part of what made HP. And I have no doubt that Out of Cards will be even better than that place, once you guys have found your feet and developed all that you wish to.
Hm, 4 mana for 3 bodies and 2 of them with guaranteed tribal synergy. People made fun of Nightmare Amalgam when it dropped, but I don't think that they'll make the same mistake twice.
I wouldn't call it extremely strong, but it is definitely flexible and will see play in the Year of the Dragon.
Chu doesn't look happy. Boom could be showing him up

"Come to Wild, Shadows..."
"JOooiIIiin uuuUuUss..."
"One of us.. one of us..."
... Says the guy who doesn't play Wild, but still.

And it's boring. As. Fuck. To. Watch

Uh oh. Togwaggle looks pretty worried. League of Explorers take candle...?
Blade Flurry, Fan of Knives. S'bout it.

Much love and gratitude from Canada!
This card looks pretty sweet for control. Hakkar and bomb Warrior may push this card into the mainstream as a tech choice.
