[Resolved 8/31] The team is aware that any existing Battlegrounds-only Weekly Quests players had prior to the 24.2 patch were deleted when 24.2 went live. It is intended that these Weekly Quests will not be offered going forward, but it is not intended that those players already had would be deleted went the patch went live. Those deleted Weekly Quests will be returned to affected players in an update coming soon.
There is one legit reason. For small purchases the fees from Apple/Google/card companies can be very high (30+%). By buying fantasy currency in bulk you avoid fees for every small purchase.
They already said, that they will keep 1 USD = 100 runestones and sell packages same size as preorders/passes. They do it mainly to sell small items like single BG portrait to avoid huge fees on these small purchases.

It gives one mana permanently but it is usable next turn since you get it empty
Also, you confuse Magister Dawngrasp with Varden Dawngrasp (same character, different card, very different power levels)

Maybe you should emphasize that there is one free skin in Battlegrounds shop (not regular shop)
If you depend on one card (Denarius) then the issue is not Theotar, but your one card strategy.
