I've already put hundreds of Euros into the game but I recognize a bad deal when I see one. Blizz really has to revalue cosmetics. I'd rather pay for Tavern Pass to get 13 cosmetics and a card back and extra XP and pay only 20 bucks.
I wish these skin bundles you could get each one seperatly, id prolly get gul'dan then. But with all 4 or nothing im skipping this 100%, i dont like the other 3skins at all and would never use them and im not paying 25 euro for a single skin.
YEP, I have no problem to put money into the game, even just for asthetics, but 25 $/€? This is not worth it for me. I'd like to have "some" of the skins (Uther) but won't pay anything either. I passed on the Chinese New Year bundle for the same reason.
edit: if I'd get 1 skin for 5 money, I would just buy it instantely (I know I wouldn't get the offer, because 4*5 < 25)
Same tactic for me. But I dusted Illucia last nerf. So it was 1K + x for me (golden rod, normal Rod, normal Perpetual and x from 9+ Brutes - didn't count them)
Brute DH is very good because you can Glide them. As mentioned before Secret Pally may work well. You'll wonder how often T1 "Oh my Yogg" kills the quest... Other then that are board based decks not good in the meta. They lose to mage to often.
It really is. I played it too and it's sometimes ridiculous. I'm a Gold/Platinum player and faced a Control Priest with Legend cardback. I thought I'll lose this becaused they can outheal me. Even had Patches on starting hand. So I emoted "well played" when playing Patches to signal that I've already accepted my defeat. But I won... They probably thought I was overconfidentely BMimg..
3 out of 3 in Casual for me. I played "Quest" WL but swapped Quest for Noz, so that I'll die quickly.
1st Opp: normal Quest WL, but I lost later then expected.
2nd Opp: Warrior, tried to do the same as I and skipped every turn. I didn't have any self damage cards so I decided to play Windfury Giants and I won.
After watching the complete Mercenaries video series by Regiskillbin, I'm actually quite hyped for the mode and can't wait to play it! It really seems to have some depth regarding team composition and tactics. I'm still concerned about the monetization and I won't preorder anything as long as I can't playtest the mode. I think I'll stick to f2p in Mercenaries and see how far I can get.
Yesterday I had the Quests to win in ranked, play as Warrior, deal 200 damage to Heroes and to complete Stormwind quest lines. So I thought I could to it all in once with QL Warrior and try to get the "attack with Pirates" achievement on the go. It's not good in Standard so I switched to Wild an finally decided to craft Patches!
Ok, so after the start of the first game I noticed that I net decked the wrong deck :D It had no Quest... I won the game surprisingly. Then I queued with the correct deck. Other then the Celestial Druid I met in the first game it performed as expected
So what brings me to this thread? The fact that I drew Patches in each of the first three games from the top turn 1!

I would not value it vs the normal cost but compare the amount of fun I expect and the amount of time I'm going to invest.
30$ for 8 hours and not much fun: to expensive. 130$ for hundreds of hours I enjoy? Count me in!
