The deck was awful because the battlecries would have to trigger in the exact right order. Doppelgangster X2, and then Boisterous Bard, and then Star Aligner X2. And even then they would only take 14 damage.
I guess I am not enough of a johnny player to appreciate the deck.
Boisterous bard is cheaper than the Defender of argus.. It adds more consistancy as it hits all minions but doesn't give taunt.. Arguable I guess
Totally agree. While the priest quest counts anduin healing the ennemy properly, the hunter quest and side quest mechanics seems sloppy as hell and full of inconsistencies
Had one of those fun meme-off with a Quest-Talritha paladin. I love originality! Paladin had a great start with reborn murloc on one and curving reborn minions till early quest completion followed by a Talritha copying.
Match however ended in a fun way:
- 8:13 Few seconds in the shudderloop, 23hp, lethal onboard, reborn taunt up
- 8:14 two more double shudderwocks to go, 16hp, there goes the board
_Time of death 8:16 , cause: Meteor Shower.
It wasn't really meant to be an OTK but I guess with enough rolls...
They're free, but only for a little while longer (I think similar to SN1P-SN4P), so if someone missed that window my hope is to tell them how important they are to craft.
Dangit.. that's disappointing. Free legendaries is one of my argument to lure uncorrupted innocent friends to the hell of Hearthstones. Oh well
Part of me wants to give this game a try, but this all looks so complicated compared to the simple Hearthstone keyword system. How easy do you think it would be to cross over from Hearthstone to MtG theoretically?
It's not too hard to get into but where I struggled personally is to recognise threats and watch out for untapped lands( often meaning a counter in hand) . Just like in HS some cards like Brann and stargazer luna with sub-par stats are true threats, in MTG a lot of cards snowballs real fast if left unchecked and it takes time to know what deserves a removal.
Also being land flooded or mana screwed is infuriating and never 100% avoidable.
Wow! That is a lot of effort put in a deck I initially crafted to have fun in casual. I don't have a lot of the cards you mentioned - Valeera and Preparation. Also the deck is called Tekhan Rogue so I feel like Galakrond 's kind of important there.
If you agree I'd love for you to make your version of the deck and post it on your profile mentioning me somewhere or linking this deck or something. Yours will be the competitive version maybe with techs and winrates and stuff.

I didn't want to wait till I craft all the cards and instead made it with what I had already.. it's fun bu need the early game dragon priest cards. Wyrmrest Agent to slow aggro and I added a Twilight Drake since my hand tends to be very full. The deck has basically no healing until turn 6 but it does work great.
I love the Transmogrifier + Plot Twist combo.. been playing that a bunch after seeing Chump do it but I do agree that it burn away your rescources.. Seeing your Valdris Felgorge turned into Millhouse will not feel good.
It doesn't even work with the Broodmother which is such a missed opportunity.
While I've been standing outside New Look waiting for the missus and holding the dog I've been looking for a deck that I can take onto Ladder for the Memes. This looks ideal...

I really really want to craft it, the deck seems extremely fun! Is it any competitive? What's your score with it?
I think it might need some adjustments and techs if you want to try this on ladder. For example I run Gang Up instead of Lab Recruiter cause it can target ennemy minions but the lab guy is a body..
I need to check my winrate but the deck works a bit like the handbuff rogue where you could draw a stream of 5+ drops for 5 turns and die or you can draw a flybooter and double Shadowstep and just win right there. Three flybooters completes the quest.
Lol so because Devolve changed the ennemy minions played on board it copied the devolve results instead?
I dunno if that's good or bad but it lines up with blizzard's consistent inconsistencies.
"Cards effect happens in order of which one is played first" so summoning minions is stopped midway for quest completion animation to happen.. and yet Swarm of Locusts is a nightmare for any quest played before it.
This year's coming to an end and I'm pretty surprised I went through the Aggro dominance (be it Mech hunters, hand buff paladins, evolve shamans, Galakrond shaman, murloc shamans, even shamans and more) and haven't uninstalled Hearthstones yet.
This is mostly thanks to you guys who helped me keep my love of deckbuilding alive, providing card suggestions that made my meme decks at least 40% viable instead complete flops and even got one or two of them featured in the Wild Weekend Deck series of articles (which I absolutely love- the ideas are delightful).
The nice community and pretty much flawless site made Hearthstones so much more enjoyable and God knows I've needed an easy after-work stress relief this year.
Fellow builders- keep helping each other and happy holidays!
Can confirm being haunted by purple. I had a bunch of other bug that seems to have been fixed by a reinstall. I should mention that I'm on an android tablet.

Thanks for the list! Gonna be quite useful. The Galakronds are like C'Thun though - uncraftable and gifted with the first pack of it's expansion.

Unsure if the turn 2 stats from Questing Explorer is worth suffering a dead draw after quest. Novice Engineer is a classic of quest rogue.
Yes you're right reborn minions always comes back with 1 health left.. your khartut defender had 4 total health but came back with 3 health missing.
