I forgot to dust my extra copies of Granite Forgeborn and now I see that none of the nerfed cards give their full disenchant value. Is it just me or am I missing something here?

Should I leave a quest log spot open for the legendary quest, when the expansion launches, or will the 4th one do?

TL;DR: I think not. I think that when a card pack is added to the "Open Packs" section, the content of the pack is already decided (regardless of whether you open it or not). One way you can possibly bypass this, is to finish the last wing of the adventure when the next big cycle starts and earn your pack at that time.

How I found out: I kept some Classic packs without opening them before the launch of the Year of the Raven, when Ice Block, Molten Giant and Coldlight Oracle were added to HoF. I did so, so that I won't get any extra copies of those cards and possibly get new ones that I haven't already possess. After the cards were HoFed, I open the Classic packs and found 2 copies of Coldlight Oracle and came to the above conclusion.

It obviously refers to your opponent's turn. There is little to no chance, that you would rather inflict damage to yourself (clearing let's say a 1-drop on turn 2), than having an almost free 3/6 with Taunt on board next turn.

Switching to 120p and muting the tab can also do wonders for those who will be active during that time!

You might want to fix the title from Caousel to Carousel :)

Gold is awarded when playing against real players and not NPC.

Wanna see an 8 mins record?

    Sure, I guess!?

My first and only attempt was with Warrior, with very long Bomb animations and bad drawing-RNG on behalf of the opponent. I managed to Brawl the head of the final boss and won at the same turn thanks to Boom Bots. 29min, 30+seconds for me (which I thought it would be one of the good ones at that time).

I like the idea a lot! I will try the deck but I would take out Mass Dispel, 2xPenance and 2xBone Wraith and I would add one more copy of Dead Ringer (or Plague of Death) and Khartut Defender, 2xRotten Applebaum and N'Zoth, the Corruptor.

You'll have better chances in surviving the early/mid-game aggression by playing one Taunt minion at a time and  also push for some face damage too. N'Zoth, the Corruptor will allow you to play the tempo-loss Emperor Thaurissan turn and of course heal you to full for some time after. That way you may play your combo with less combo pieces sometimes or straight up win without it, by adding a copy of Seance for an alternative win-condition.

I feel that after the event patch went live, the meta is going to be so control-oriented that zoo won't be viable (check HSReplay occasionally if you want). I would personally craft neither of them and wait for the next expansion, since neither of those cards is playable in Wild either.

Give my refined "Highkeeper Ra Handlock" a go instead, if you want to play some control Warlock during the event!

Kinda awkward to ask it here, but how did you manage to add Ragnaros the Firelord and N'Zoth, the Corruptor to your decks? I get nothing under the "Wild Event" tab in deck-builder, so my decks keep getting flagged as Wild formatted, when I add those in any Standard deck I want to create...

The newly-added cards to your Standard collection can also be used in those old adventure missions that require deck-building (if you don't already have these in your Wild collection).

When will the event decks get marked as Standard format?

If you also had an ongoing Arena run (let's say at 2 losses) before the event went live, you would be awarded with all the rewards from that run plus an extra Arena ticket, while the old run would be forfeited. The same will happen at the end of the event, so keep that in mind as well.

I can't wait for the event to start! I've already prepared a soon-to-be Standard "Highkeeper Ra Handlock" deck if you are interested :)

Survivability might be an issue here. Try adding 2 copies of Deathlord for one copy of Murloc Tastyfin and Togwaggle's Scheme or Gang Up.

I often play meme and combo decks that are "frail" but effective to an extent, although I could easily lose on the spot due to a bad play on my part. Survivability is top priority but removal/AOE cards are limited (since my win-condition setup requires lots of cards and preparation) and must be saved for the most dire times.

So, planning accordingly is vital for my strategies, that's why I try minimizing the number of cards with "random" effects in my decks. All I need is to have as much control over any situations I might find myself into, rather than creating more of them due to bad RNG. And that's because RNG in Hearthstone is "unfair" (not to me specifically, but in it's concept and generation).

In order to create "fair" randomness, you must use a phenomenon that naturally occurs in nature to generate your results. Computers can't easily do that, but rather use algorithms to generate those results and gaming programs of this sort (CCG let's say) use a less complicated concept called Pseudo-RNG. Even that is absolutely fine, but what happens with Hearthstone's moments of randomness during gameplay?

Hearthstone seems to love huge comebacks and those 0.00001% moments who could end up in a YT video or on Reddit, that could motivate the community and keep the game "fresh" (the drive to recreate and experience similar plays is just one of the reasons the game is so addicting). Other times it feels like you "know" that the game favors you or not (depending on whether your win-rate needs to be adjusted accordingly) and that you could tell the result of a certain random play from either player, which seems to target the most impactful factor of the match at that time and could potentially turn the tables. I want to own my victory or defeat and not be rewarded for my bad plays if the game thinks that's fine at that instance. That being said, it feels like there is something more than just plain RNG and I personally don't like it, not due to the way it impacts my games but because it's biased and untrue to its random nature.
