I’m currently having fun with a Viego/Atakahn, Shadow Isle / Noxus deck. It’s mainly field semi-tank units and cover them with removal, and wait for Atakahn to arrive

Hearthstone which has literally been on the market for like 20 years.

Quote from the internet about Hearthstone's official release date--

"The game was released on March 11, 2014."

We do some simple math and conclude that Hearthstone is just a little bit less than 8 years old

Look, in all seriousness, you clearly don't like Legends of Runeterra anymore. There's a simple solution to that - just stop playing it. There is literally (see what I did there? using the word properly and all?) no reason for you to try to drag other people down into hating the game along with you.

    See you later!

Edit - Total side note about that Grapplr video: That Tristana/Rumble deck looks super interesting. I kinda wanna try it out.

I wouldn’t be so quick to boot Nifty out of the forum just yet. We all know that in the past Nifty has been a bit caustic. It a fact, I’m sorry if it seems rude.

But, over the past few months I’ve seen most of his posts come out quite differently. Much less arrogant and more engaging. During this tim I’ve seen other people on the forum remain caustic towards Nifty, which I get. Sometimes it’s hard to see people change.

Now this post has nothing to do with LoR, but neither have a lot of posts that have been spat out there. I would just caution people not to throw blame quickly

Question. Why does it matter to us, the player what mobalytics say? It seems like it would make more sense for us gauge our enjoyment of the game off of whether the decks we are playing are entertaining us. As a player, why would I care how statistically good a deck is if it’s not one I enjoy or play?

I’m aware that’s how it works. It’s the unfortunate bi-product of card games

I actually agree with Nifty on this one. Back when they first managed to fix Azir/Irelia I put out a post similar to his.

It’s painful fighting the same thing over and over again. Especially if you can’t beat it.

Conversely, fighting a wide variety of decks, but all of them feel the same, is pretty boring.

Personally, I like it when there is a big enemy to fight. What I don’t like is when every person I fight is that big enemy

It’s also interesting because you about double the rate at which you power up your Encroaching Mis

When Kennen first came along, I discovered in my first match that you don't have to play just recalled units for his trigger to level up. Any duplicate unit will work. This has led me to the question? What other play styles and champions does he pair with? Bellow is my first experiment.

As you can see, is focuses on fielding units (at best, the Encroaching Mist) and then recalling and copying them to re-trigger their effects. I think this is a deck style that could be used with other unit spam champions like Azir but what do you think? What are other creative ways to speed level Kennen? Or use his support cards to buff other decks?

PS: I'm also looking for feedback on this deck. It plays well, but not great and I'm looking for ways to improve.

My personal choice would be Commander Ledros I wanted him be a champion in league ever since he made an appearance in one kalista short story, plus he hold the distinction of being of the few epic high cost followers who is trash tier.

He definitely fits the champion mold. Would you change his card abilities or keep them the same

It’s up to your interpretation. Cards that seem mighty enough to be champions. Or maybe they’re art makes them look like a champion. Maybe they have a card ability that is strong enough to be a champion. It’s up to you

I thought this would be an interesting question:

What are cards in the game that you deem worthy of being champions? My example would be Atakahn, Bringer of Ruin. He is such a fun, strong end-game card. There are a lot of cards that counter him, but he is really fun to play around with.

What would be your choice of cards that deserve a promotion?

Not gonna stay on this thread much longer but I literally just played the mirror against Zigs Thaliyah and they lost handedly.

The reason is simple and I've played those decks too, that giving ziggs or Thaliyah overwhelm so you can actually win is super akward and requires multiple cards to be commited.

Meanwhile I play Nasus into strike and the games over and I literally commited 1 champ slot to make that play happen.

So again random forum people talking about a bad deck like Zigs Thaliyah 0 Nifty1. At the end of the day the money goes where your oversized mouths are.

It sounds like you’ve got a good deck. But, I’m going to be honest and say nobody will care if you berate the people who disagree with you.

I’m actually curious to see how your dec fares up. I make my own decks and would be curious to test them against other home-brew.  If you want to win against someone who can support your claims, I’ve put my gamer tag in the Looking for Friends thread (or whatever it’s called)

The simple solution for this would be to put our accounts into the LoR Friend Request page and actually put out decks against each other.

Nifty. You often say your decks are top tier and that the others on the forum are bad players. No better way to prove a point than actually fight us.

So I recently found this card again, and have been trying to make a deck maximizing on his strength.

    Atakhan, Bringer of DoomBADCARDNAME

So far I have experimented with pure Noxus, and blends with both Freljord and Targon.

I’m curious what are some other deck ideas I can use him in, and what are ones you’ve used for fun?

Actually I'm a diamond player mostly and I do it over my phone in my spare time.

With zero meta lists only my own decks.

    And I'm free to play

The reality is building decks being original is hard  and so is climbing while being original. Criticizing others because youre bad at the game is easy...so keep on doing you guys.

Nifty, how good you are as a player does not change statistics created by analyzing multiple players. They might not be as good as you. They may be better. That’s how you create an average.

As well, I think I can speak for a lot of us and say, you may be a good player; but we could care less when you are shoving it in our faces. Saying that other players are bad at the game because they disagree with you does not help you either. All it shows is arrogance.

For me, I would rather talk about game mechanics than personal accomplishments and berating other player

Is there a glitch allowing for instant kills. In a round I attacked with an 10/10 Aurelian Sol. It was blocked by a 4/6 Dreadway, and  rather than eating it, it killed both. Later I blocked a 2/1 with a 9/5 Infinite Mindsplitter, and both died. Has anyone else had that happen?
