I don't post too often and, if I do, I think it tends to be a complaint..... That being said, I've been playing HS off and on since Naxx and right now, with all of the cool stuff in the game, I can't help but focus on just how miserable it feels to queue into Priest. At this point, I immediately auto-concede before the intro animations even load.
Wandmaker --> Renew --> (absolutely anything that wins a game or a turn, or a game) --> Raise Dead --> Wandmaker --> Renew --> Southsea Scoundrel (randomly) --> Raise Dead --> Wandmaker --> Renew --> Wave of Apathy, into Against All Odds --> repeat with more totally random stuff until I throw my phone or punch the monitor because "Priest's identity is random FUN!!!!!!111one"
I don't typically complain about games, but man, this expansion hasn't been very fun so far. Every single game is no minion mage or rogue/paladin with pen flinger...
Thanks for the reminder! I had a golden Dragonqueen as my guaranteed golden from the pre-purchase last season and have been so bored with highlander decks that I deleted all of those deck archetypes! 3200 dust isn't bad and, if needed, I can craft it for 1600 later and pocket the difference!
I'm glad it's Kripp doing the final stream because he won't do the forced, fake laugh (*cough* Kibler *cough*) and think everything is OMG SO HILARIOUSLY AWESOME OMG OMG! I stopped watching him since he switched to nearly 100% battlegrounds coverage, but I still think he's the most level-headed of the reveals personalities, able to think about neat combos and implications with other brand new cards on the fly.
This is one of those things that I'll always buy immediately (in the hopes that I'll hit that timer for a legendary). Anyway, managed to get 5 epics, all of which I'll dust because I already have them! It's nice to flesh out some of my other decks with some of the goldens that I'm missing too!
I wrote a snarky post about Blizzard paying personalities to play their game; the same personalities who already make money/livings playing their game. I scrolled back up and saw that Regis was involved so now I'll tone it down and hope his team wins. That guy is killing it with his videos and good vibes!
I'm definitely on the fence about this one. And why another druid instead of a new mage or hunter? Anyway, we'll see what the emotes are like - maybe that will push me over the edge!
A card for all of those times that I purposefully built decks with neutrals and then........ wished I hadn't? Too bad there isn't a card that allows you to trigger a battlecry for the opponent - like a treachery that also activated the text lol
All of the posts about Kibler not being on the reveal stream...... IMHO, I always thought (think) that Kibler is on recreational drugs to stay "fake positive" during his steams and YouTube videos. Everything about that guy seems so forced, especially when he guffaw-cackles when something "omg so funny" happens. I get Jimmy Fallon vibes from him. Kripp on the other hand? Straight shooter. Yep, he's boring sometimes but he never fakes it. Anyway, I'm excited about the stream!
Funny enough, Plot Twist Warlock and Silence Priest have been godly for me....... I was 10-2 with silence priest through last night and 4-0 with plot twist as people were conceding as soon as they saw the reborn deathrattle heals stacking up. I even got an insta-concede + friend request when I dropped N'Zoth on turn 9 with coin. Ha!
Ha, like everyone else is saying - I thought this was for sure a Shaman weapon on first glance! Reminds me of the early days in WoW, playing that Hunter and need rolling on EVERY WEAPON THAT EVER DROPPED!
Awesome guide and there's no way I'm going to crap on it....... but god I can't wait for the new expansion to drop so all the streamers I watch can go back to good old Hearthstone ladder clips
Does anyone know where I can find the new Descent of Dragons wallpaper? I see that the official Blizzard site has done a very good job of hiding their old "media" link. I'd really like to get the new expansion wallpaper - any help would be appreciated!
Hello all - yeah it's a long shot and Fireside Gatherings exist, but I'm curious if there are any Denver players out there who might want to meet up and play? I always enjoyed sitting across from my friends, laptop vs laptop, and having a drink and yelling at my bad hand, etc.... We've all moved on to our respective jobs across the country and playing online, in the confines of my home, isn't nearly as fun.
I was hyped for a hot minute, but then I took a deep breath and thought about it. I started back in November of 2007 and played like it was a job for a long, long time. I'm talking about 50+ hour weeks WITH a full time job. Wake up, eat, go to work, come home, eat, play WoW, sleep; repeat. I watched and experienced the game change throughout the years and I finally stopped playing it "for real" back in Warlords. The past was cool because it was new. Reliving it now though seems super disingenuous and more like a waste of time than anything else.
And honestly, I can't go back to the original character models!
