Thank you for all these answers! I will tryout some deck suggestions from you. Dragon Hunter and Highlander Mage sounds interesting. I own both Reno cards so its not a problem.

Maybe I will tryout some Priest decks too.

Your help was nice, I like this community on Outof.cards :D

No I don't want to play shaman only anymore. Maybe I try some other classes like Priest. Played priest back when Dragon priest was a thing in TGT. I think Res Priest is the way to go right?

    Hello people,

I need your help. Today i played ladder a bit (I am silver 3 right now) and i am kind of tilted after a few games. First: This is no salt thread, I really need some help. I play HS for quite a while now and started to "main" Shaman, because its the most flexible class (in my oppinion).

So after a few "Dragon quest Highlander" games today I faced only 3 decks: Face Hunter, Demon Hunter (Aggroversion) and Galakrond Rogue.

I have no problems with these Rogues, most of the time I just out-value them with my HP. But... I have a hard time versus those (Demon) Hunters. They have soooo much value with just 2 or 3 mana, that they outtempo me since the first or second round. And everytime it seems like I have a Comeback, I am at 15 HP (or less) and they can give me everything face without worrying.

Now my question: What is the best deck versus those classes? (Without joining them....)

I just think of changing to Totem Shaman again, but they will clear them very quickly.

Ok. I played alot of games today. I only play one class (shaman), because I had alot of fun with it the last 2-3 years. Shaman had its time I know. And yes, Galakrond Shaman was broken as hell, but what I saw today from Demon Hunter is, that you can get him very good under control. But this class doesn't care in the end. 5 Mana refill AND in the same turn he plays a bunch of cheap minions. You have a board? Meet my Priestess of Fury. Aaah dude, you got Taunts? Here Kayn Sunfury AAAND FACE. Dude why you don't heal? Oh right my HP does 5 damage for 1 Mana and i got my 8 DMG into your face spell in the hand.

I don't know how other classes work against Demon Hunter, but as a shaman you have like 0 chances to win this. I won a game against Demon Hunter. He didn't play Skull of Gul'dan, Metamorphosis or Priestess of Fury. Yeah pls nerf these 3 cards. Or just 2 of them. I will play wild till DH got nerfed into the ground.

Ok I have to say it now: Just wtf ist Blizzard doing? I don't want to complain or sth, but this card has rediculous value. For 8 mana you can kill most of the big minions AND you taunt up after that...

I don't know how DH will work with it, but in any other class, this could be OP.

When I am wrong, tell me, but I see ALOT of potential in this card... maybe too much.

Oh Boy. Now Ultimate Infestation summons two 5/5's xD

I think it's a solid card in standard, but it can escalate in wild with Ultimate Infestation.

In Standard it could finally make Overflow a good card. Othen than that... I just see a The Forest's Aid and Blessing of the Ancients Combo.
The other cards in standard are very cheap. I hope Druid gets some big spells for this card to work, because I don't think just Overflow can't make it.

When i see this card, I feel bad for Lyra the Sunshard. I don't need to cast spells on minions for her to work, but this epic is a solid 2-drop. It costs way less mana, so it has way more combo potential.

Overall it's a really cool card, but I don't like the fact, that Blizzard make other legendaries look so bad compared to other non-legendary cards.

I have a question about watermarking your card.

Am i allowed to give my card ANY watermark (even ones that don‘t exist in HS) there are on hearthcards?

    I like your custom class!

Your Runes act some kind of Combo from Rogue, but way better, because you really have to prepare your turns to overwhelm your opponent with value.

I like the whole concept of the class, even if Blizzard would never do a class (or cards) like this. I hope you will upload all other expansions in the future. I am very excited to see more. If you wish, I could give my oppinion to every single card. Maybe I will do it anyway, when i have more time!

Don't get me wrong! I like the whole Highlander Archetype and now I know what you mean. When i look to the new 3 mana spell for Hunter it's clear, that this is for the Highlander decks!

I will test this deck for sure, because i love Spell Hunter and Reno decks! Maybe i will try out the new Brann, but I think you are right, it will make the deck more inconsistent. Maybe I won't play subject 9, because i didn't craft the card yet.

Well done and sorry for my "not that friendly" comment.

The whole introduction makes no sense. You can play Spell-Reno Hunter without the new expansion, because you don't play the new Brann. And the new two spells are really good in this deck, but for real: When you write THIS:

Well, it's known that Uldum expansion is about Highlander decks. Since Hunter is chosen for Highlander archetypes, with revealed cards, I thought: Why not Reno Spell Hunter?

Everybody now thinks, that you will play the new Brann. :D

I think the worst one would be the 3 Mana Reborn minion, that makes the enemy cards cost 1 less. It's basically a dead card in your hand.

I would like to see a Shaman highlander card. Just because i am a big shaman fan! (My most played cass)

But i would recommend Blizzard to make a neutral highlander card. All classes can use it and maybe it will make the other ones from Mage, Hunter, Druid and Paladin even better.

I don't see any reason (in standard) to play the new Reno or even the new Elise. Brann und Sir Finley maybe worth it to build arround them in standard.

Give us some spicy highlander neutral shit, like Reno Jackson was in LoE!

I don't like the discard mechanic overall.
But the latest discard cards Blizzard made, are waaaaay better then the first ones. "Discard your lowest cost card..." to gain a good effect was pretty solid.

Now we get "Discard your highest cost Card..." to gain a really good Deathrattle. I don't play Warlock, but I think there are good high cost Cards you wanna duplicate.

In conclusion this seems to be a good 2 drop for Warlock and that it's only rare make it even better!

Yes I am sry. Maybe I overstated Hagatha's Scheme a bit. But i like the card and it is a great AoE tool. When I overthink my comment, I think you are right, there are much better ones. But 5 mana for 5 to 6 damage in most cases is insane.

Yes they are 1/1s that do nothing.

As a Control-Shaman player i have to say: WTF is blizzard doing? First shaman get the best AoE clear in Hearthstone history (Hagatha's Scheme) and then we get a Flamestrike with 3 extra damage? And not to mention, that you can bait out deathrattles with the first 5 damage and kill the tokens after that with 2 damage.

Holy shit. I am sorry for token decks or any mech hunter out there! :D But I am happy to see this card. The Control-Shaman dream goes on with it. I love this archetype for shaman so much <3

To the Warlock card: First it seems very bad to shuffle 3 Imps into your deck. But they can help you to fill your deck for the quest or Rafaam himself to generate more legendaries. But will warlock come back with the quest and this? I really don't know...

    Hey

I am a really big fan of the shaman class. I really want to play this deck. The win condition is to out-value your opponent with all the heals and boardclears. So you play your C'Thun buff things, Reno, Grumble and Doppelgangster for your Shudderwock Combo. So you heal yourself, buff your C'Thun and get Shudderwock (hopefully) back to your hand for 1 mana.
I think, that C'Thun is the finisher in this deck.

Am I missing something in the strategy of this deck?
When you write the guide or maybe help me, I will definitely craft the only missing card for this deck (Reno).

Maybe I will try it later today on my own.

Edit: If i see right you play Jepetto Joybuzz and C'Thun. They counter each other, aren't they?

I can only tell you, what I think is the case.
We saw the mechanic from a Legendary Rogue card, where you had to play 4 cards in ONE turn. In this card, the "one turn" thing was mentioned.

They don't say "in one turn" in this card, so i think you have to heal 5 health, regardless of number of turns you need to heal 5 health.
