The example does work with Contact Fusion, so you could use something like a Gladiator Beast Fusion monster or Neos Contact as example if you wanted to stick to Fusion monster

Your second example for properly summoned monsters does not work because it is not possible to attempt to Fusion Summon Sea Monster of Theseus outside of a chain, and you cannot use Solemn Judgment (or any card or effect that negates summons) to negate the Summon of a monster that was Summoned during a chain.  The example would work with a standard Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summon though

It’s simply a case where those cards are not on the banlist so there isn’t really a reason why they should be excluded.  No cards treat themselves as Pot of Greed, save for Pot of Greed itself.  There is no use for their effects currently, but that doesn’t mean there never could be.  While Pot of Greed is highly unlikely to be unbanned in the competitive format anytime soon (if ever), there is always the possibility that some events allow for some banned cards to be played

Astrograph is so good.  Still sadly no Electrumite limit, but the deck is still fun irl. I can’t wait for Beyond the Pendulum to come out as a replacement. I’m also thinking of getting a copy of the deck.

Yeah, I still highly recommend doing the Solo mode challenges.  Even though I have played all of the archetypes, it’s still really fun to go through.  And the decks that you play with in the Story modes are actually really well built for the most part.  So if you want to play Monarchs for example, just take the Monarch Deck they let you play with an recreate it and you’ll be 90+% there.  (Still some changes make the deck better like adding Anchamoufrite and Domain of the True Monarchs and removing Restoration of the True Monarchs for example)

P.S.  I’m a Yu-Gi-Oh! Judge and moderator of said subreddit, so feel free to ask me if you have any questions

    That makes sense.

Unfortunately, the Story Mode Structure Decks are all terrible.  None of the archetypes are particularly fantastic currently, and the archetypes that are solid like Monarchs or Shiranui are built terribly and don’t look anything like a competitive version of them should.  As you get them for free, might as well collect them, but there are only a few worthwhile cards split amongst all of them.  You probably wouldn’t want to spend gems on any of them if you had to.

3 copies of Magician of Pendulum get you well on your way to a very good Pendulum Magicians deck including several necessary SRs and a couple of important URs.  You would still need to craft/open some additional cards especially in the Extra Deck, but 3SDs get you over halfway there and is the more efficient way to go over opening the Pendulum Magician Secret Pack.

3 copies Re-Contract Universe likewise is helpful in building a Utopia deck, but a Utopia deck is not as good.

The Togwaggle teaser video of the expansion with the original LoE theme was one of the hypest moments in Hearthstone's history, in my opinion.

My favorite cards are Desert Obelisk and Highkeeper Ra because they give off Yu-gi-oh! vibes, as they are both the same rarity, both require a lot of "tributes" that are difficult to meet, and both have high destructive power if you manage to summon them.  I am hoping for a third epic neutral inspired by the Sky Dragon so I don't have to keep wondering if they are indeed Yu-gi-oh! nods, or if it's just standard Egyptian theming.
