I was hoping Magikman would be in here with his Reno Mage. Not because it's new, but because of his time he took to explain the deck to new Wild players. FYI, the deck is fantastic, and it stomps on Big Priests.
Instead of blatantly copying decks, it is no secret that all decks need to be adjusted based on your own rank and the decks you're facing. It's not the next tier 1 deck, and OP isn't suggesting that. Think about replacing a few cards, like I did myself.
Looks like fun, but I don't agree with your statement on Ladder not having many Bomb Warriors right now. It depends mostly on the rank you're playing at, but I've faced plenty of them.
I'm not a big Combo-player myself, but I know many have been aching to find new iterations of Mecha'Thun decks.
The general idea is that in most cases, you want Frog in your mulligan. Frog provides insane cycle, and helps you fish for much needed cards against Aggro. It's also a soft-Taunt, which needs to be removed. Frog is basically included in almost all Shaman decks, except Murloc, and has been doing incredibly well.
I have no idea why nobody commented on this guide yet, after 8 upvotes, but holy cow, amazing work. I ditched Wild, since I had no more time available to rank for both Standard ánd Wild, but I really wanted to get back into it. This deck gives me enough reason to actually do so.
Okay, so I've actually played a bit on ladder, and I've not had this much fun since the start of the expansion.
However, Aggro matchups are ridiculously hard. If you don't find Hellfire or Doomsayer, you're basically done. One idea I had is to add in one or two copies of Spirit Bomb, which got buffed. It deals with problematic early minions such as Underbelly Angler and Keeper Stalladris, and it even makes drawing Aranasi Broodmother early not that much of a 'disaster'. In my opinion, Mortal Coil has been underperforming, except when using Bloodmage Thalnos in conjunction. I'm also looking at Proud Defender to maybe help out a bit.
Also, fun tip: Waiting for both Plot Twists to sit in your hand, before you Elekk + PT, means you can go infinite. Legend has it that Warriors do not like that.
Tried out the Priest, it’s a ton of fun. Not extremely competitive, but also not completely a meme. One tip though; be wary of your targets with Cabal Shadow Priest, as it might get resurrected!
Well, thank you! It helps if you enjoy writing these things.
I agree with your take on Hagatha for this particular archetype. She's vital for Control Shaman, but not so much for Big Shaman. Fun fact however, her extra 5 armor has helped me survive against Holy Wrath Paladin quite some times.
I would like to share an opinion towards the division in content offered on the homepage. I think forum threads should be more visible, in the main menu as well as the main layout of the homepage.
I understand why decks and cards are so important, but I think the returning members value threads a lot. There are no notifications as of now, which makes having to search for the thread a lot of work (unless I'm missing something).
I have no idea what pages are being visited most, so it might be done this way because of SEO/user-friendly reasons. If so, please ignore my reasoning. I just think it can be visible more.
I think it doesn't count then. Some people have claimed, even in this thread, that they have not gotten their packs, which might be because of being idle.
But people, it's actually not that bad to just watch the matches. It sucks a bit if everyone brings the same decks, and because of that, I wish they did this for the Mech-invitational, much better that way and the content is better.
If you've seen the comments on the announcement tweet, it's atrocious. I like this idea a lot, and it's to be seen as an extra for the individuals that like watching HS Esports, but also to attract new viewers. Please don't comment that "3 hours of your time should be worth more than one pack", like those turds over on Twitter.
That being said, I liked your little nudge to being idle the whole stream, Flux.

Great article, I love this. We need more fun decks on ladder.
Thank you for mentioning me! :)

I'm a simple man.
I see Control Warlock, I press like.
These replacements are fine. I like Whelp against Warrior, but Exotic works well too.
Excellent choices, depending on your matchups. And Bloodlust has been used more and more as a finisher.

Yeah, I have two lists, one has an extra Archmage instead of Cairne, and one is this list. I have just always liked Cairne as a character.
