Deinstalled the game on my phone and turned off the autostart, haven't logged in since the weekend (first time in... years despite vacation?).
I suppose there's only a few ways to show
- reasonably express your frustration on platforms that Blizzard might recognize (i.e. Twitter, Blizzard's very own forums, reddit?), underlying that with valid arguments
It was easy to save 7-8K before just by playing a bit and completing the daily quests where it didn't matter much win or lose.
Now there's a big time investment needed to get much less gold reward. Oh, and there's a mini-expac to open even more packs for (alot of which will start giving you commons you already have way before you fill the rares let alone epics/legendaries).
I've made a note of my current account resources, and will see how things go. I have a concern that over time the game is going to get less viable for me as my saved gold and dust dwindle as I can't keep up. We shall see.
I got exactly 7150 gold from the launch of Scholomance till yesterday after finishing the last quest for gold. There's no way in hell I can do that with the new system within 3 months.
I usually get 2-3 per week (I try to keep 200 friends) and between 8-10k gold by the start of the new expansion, It'd be saddening to see them go. I'm VERY certain I won't get as much with the new system.
I just played a few games against 3 friends today (they all had the Challenge a friend quest) and after none of these games my quest log has been updated.
I had 2 50 gold quests "play 30 cards" and "destroy 25 minions" but there was no quest progress -> still 0/30 and 0/25.
Is it bugged? Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon yet?
I get around 1-2 quests from friends each week (it used to be every other day before the latest quest change to reroll 50 into 60 and vice versa). It felt like a stealth nerf already. If that "economy" is missing, I lose about 2k gold per expansion. Already saved up 5k by the end of this week. I'm sure the new system won't grant me about 10k with questing daily and occasionally receiving a challenge a friend quest.
Do you still get the challenge a friend quest on a regular basis which will earn you gold? If not, the change to an experience based daily quest is utter trash and will effectively be a gold loss for the average joe.
In that case I already hate it and it might be the final push to call it quits

- don't spend further money on the game
- rate the app low while being reasonable again
- do not play at all, don't even start the client
That's a big stretch. I'm in no way defending the reward structure as such but it's not three times as much, maths has proven that.
Gave the app one star like plenty of other guys. I'm very unsatisfied with how Activision Blizzard handles the situation.

Finally achieved rank 1 (I'm normally r4-r5).
A balanced meta in where all 9 classes are finally represented equally.
I like that card. it can enable a new kind of Druid or Shaman token (might fit in the aggro overload variant that is evolve shaman right now).

Used Highlander Hunter on NA (9/0 from 8 to R5), Tempo Rogue on EU cuz Shaman was so prevalent, 6/1 from 7 to R5). Set for the next month.
So either I am the unluckiest person on earth or I don't know. Watched (rather idled) for 15+ hours, not a single pack was awarded. Anyone else?

Personally I'll refrain from buying anything because I haven't received the Masters Tour Uldum packs yet and it feels like a scam.
I received a Classic pack but no Uldum packs (> 6 hours of watching). I hope Blizzard is fixing this otherwise no money from my side in the future
Currently 23k gold and roughly 28k dust, planning on getting 25/30 up till then
that's obviously insane with Injured Blademaster . I'm scared
I consider this a t4 play and an insane one by the way. easily 4/5
