This card is absolutely busted. No drawbacks, can be played on tempo, mana cheats some of the strongest cards in the game--absolutely ridiculously strong card.
Bandersmosh would feel so much better in Priest since we already have Chameleos and the Thief Priest package. It's a shame that Shaman got this card because it doesn't seem to fit any archetype Shaman has.
That's a great question... I'm not sure, but I suspect the discard happens before the on-board effect. If not, then a turn 4 Transmogrifier+Book of Specters will be a nasty draw combo. Regardless, I guess we'll have to test this once it comes out.
Unfortunately, it looks like this card is the first meme card released for DoD. The effect is too inconsistent to see any kind of competitive play I suspect.
Seems very strong for Hunter since Hunter has such limited card draw. Being able to play this on curve and guarantee a draw on curve will be super valuable. Ursatron is a super strong mech for Hunter with a comparable effect on deathrattle. Since this card activates with a battlecry, it seems like it will be even stronger.
This card also has synergy with the new sidequest, Clear the Way, so it seems like it will be an auto-include in the upcoming rush/beast Hunter decks.
It will be interesting to how this affect actually affects the game. As people are discussing, if this effect interacts with the graveyard, then Resurrect Priest will be in for a shock. And if this card affects your own cards, the ditto will be quite interesting in standard and wild.
The flavor and art of this are awesome--especially as someone who made a Thief Priest flavor deck for fun alone!
I love the Thief Priest archetype, but it's a tragedy that it's so bad. If Priest gets some thief cards like Rogue, we might finally get the Thief Priest archetype. Maybe this set and the upcoming rotation will bring in the much needed support Priest needs to make this archetype valid?
It's really unfortunate that this Galakrond has so much synergy with Hack the System while having the ultimate anti-synergy of completely overwriting the hero power.
Hack the System is such a cool quest that doesn't seem like it will be worth playing in DoD either since this Galakrond is so strong.
My favorite card so far is High Priest Amet. I think it is a really interesting ability that allows for tons of different synergy. Although it allows for various synergies (most notably the already discovered OTK strategy), I am most interested in trying to make a viable Star Aligner combo deck.
Priest is probably my favorite class in terms of flavor, so I love when Priest gets diversity in its playable decks. I can't wait to see what other support cards Priest will get in this expansion to make Star Aligner Priest viable.
Also, how cool would it be for Madame Lazul to literally align the stars when telling your fortune?!
Knock off Doomsayer? Good for new players, but seems like it will be just a worse version of Doomsayer in all aspects.

Yeah! Hopefully the DoD expansion brings some much needed strength to this deck, and Galakrond, the Nightmare might be what this deck needs.

It seems like Blizzard is looking for a way to make Plot Twist really fun for casual players who don't have a lot of legendaries to work with. It could also be fun for meme Mage decks? Transmogrifier+Research Project/Book of Specters/Arcane Intellect could act as a fun little combo.
