And here I was thinking that, as hero cards being 'heroes', quests would be 'quest'... They've even made cards specifically for quests... Oh well there goes my idea
Hi everyone. This might be a dumb question, I don't know, but I was trying out Shadow Priest and considered adding the quest to the deck, just for fun and to try it out. To my surprise (?) the quest is considered as a spell and the Start of Game from Benedictus doesn't activate... I guess my question is, why is a quest considered a spell?
Something else I noticed, cost reduction doesn't work to activate the steps in the quest. I played a 10 cost card reduced to 8, and it didn't count towards the completion of the quest. Would've thought it should.
I would rather have them doing something on the likes of puzzles. That I loved. To me dungeon run was fun but kinda more of the same, whereas puzzle had some strategic thinking sinergized with hearthstone's core, and it was fresh and different
I added Nozdormu to my standard Control Priest list (changed Ysera for it).... No one wanted to play blitz hearthstone... So sad... Guess very few people actually want to have fun
I honestly didn't remember that one, and if you come to think about it then it makes sense... Either that or some other form of Polymorph might come in and they're trying to give it space for later on.
However I do find devolving misiles a worst option, not to mention the randomness involved, sometimes it even backfires.
No Polymorph... Wow. Now only class with silence + disruption option in a single card is Shaman... Whyyy? 😭, everything else seems kinda ok tbh, but as a mage main, that hurts a bit.
I get why you want that, but it would kinda defeat the purpose of the system.
The goal is to show you (a user) one random(ish) card each time you refresh the page. The system calculates which card has a higher priorty to be shown so all of them get a roughly equal view time across the board.
If there was an option to see all at once, you would never vote on many cards, or you would never look over all of them. Which you will not do anyway either way most likely, but that is ok, since the views are going to be spread across many users and the fairness of the cards being shown isnt in hands of each individual, but in a system that tries to balance it for everyone.
Even if the page where you would see all didnt have a set order in which cards are displayed and would shuffle every time, it would still bring an unfair advantage to the cards being displayed first/higher, which would be the same as the old system on pwn, post fast=get more views=probably more votes. This is the main thing we are trying to eliminate.
Maybe we can consider showing more than one at once (3? 5?), tho once there is going to be prompt with tokens or multiple cards, that could make things awkward.
What about a Next button, still random, wouldn't have to hit refresh the page... More so for us mobile users.
Finally!!!! I started playing MTG Arena recently, and have been wanting to play it for a while, but I don't use pc much often so didn't start playing earlier... Now this changes everything! 🙌🙌
I really like this system, though I would really like to have a way to see all the submissions at once.
I find only being able to see one, and having to refresh the page to see another one, kind of odd. I understand the logic behind it, but maybe it would be better if you showed them all, and each time you enter that page, you see them in different order, to preserve the possibility of all of them being shown up.
Well I didn't say I hate it, I just stated my opinion in the forum meant for that...whether the dev team listens to the input and do something about it or not is up to them.
Hating won't give you extra up votes btw, it's a forum in the end.

Anyways, wanted to know your opinion on this.

It was about damn time! Awesome news!
Holly... I want one!
So... No news on mobile... Bummer
Infiltrator, with all the resurrect Priest gets... Jisus! I cannot wait for it to go away... Is annoying!
Would you at least elaborate on your thoughts. What makes you say that based on those cards, doesn't make any sense.

I'm currently tinkering with a dragon based highlander Paladin deck, I just don't have it uploaded. It is fun, it still needs refinement though
Thank you

As the title implies, Am I the only one bothered by this? It doesn't feel like it fits with the design of the site at all.
