I would say pretty much the same, for farming I use Cairne Ragnaros Geddon antonidas Tavish Diablo. Except against elementals I go freeze.
Cairne and Jaïna are good because of reborn and ice block in pve, you almost never loose a Merc during a run if you know how to provok a focus fire on one of the

I see your reasoning poghy, it makes sense but you might laque of physical damage and if malfurion dies, your caster will be very fragile against orc comps or Diablo fire tea
cariel/Vol’Jin/Sylvanas and tlk/natalie Séline/ Tirion on the bench. Not sure Tamsin make the cut.
cariel for the early taunt, Vol’Jin and Sylvanas for the shadow damage, would snipe any team Caster except Guff I guess. Out of the bench Natalie Seline for more burst or Lich king if Cariel die. Tirion if heavy Casters
This is the composition that might take an edge on the combo and burst damage lineup.
the nature buffed team
for starters I choose : Guff/Thrall/Bru’kan
Thrall is your carry here and Guff tanks for him while Bru’kan disrupt. This team is very sensitive to fighters but again I don’t think will see many starters including more than one fighter.
On the bench we have malfurion, Brightwing for nature combos and kingKrush as a finisher
Samuro or illidan could work as well but KingKrush seems superior andTirion would be my second pick .
let me know what you think of this lineup and if you have better combos to pull of.
This is my Arcane theory craft composition adapted from what we have seen of Tars YouTube experience. This is in my opinion the most evident burst Free to play .
the starters are Millhouse/Tyrande/Cairne
thé goal is to reduce the cost of Millhouse seconde ability and let it cast twice with Tyrande help. Cairne is here for Cooldown and survival. This will kill protectors and probably casters too
on the bench we have Diablo for apocalypse, Lich king to tank and blink fox for the arcane damage but also CD and ability thieving.
the combo Tyrande/Millhouse will see a lot of play the first month because they are starting characters and very obvious burst.
tell me what you think of this line up. If you have better synergies, feel free to share.
This is the line up I would go with to punish Arcane/Freeze/Orc compositions
The goal is to nuke the enemy fighters like Tyrande/diablo(combo break) Samuro, Rokara, and illidan. No mention this will destroy Thrall comp’ as he will die turn 2.
For this we start with Antonidas/Geddon/diablo and we go turn two for AoE flame strike boosted by Diablo. With this set up their protector(s) will die and the character of your choice preferably a fighter who deal double damage to your casters. The casting time reduction of Geddon is the key. Otherwise either antonidas or Diablo will die first.
On the bench we have Cairne for CD and taunt Ragnaros for the equipment giving 20Pvp if it works on all party. And alextrasza who can be replace by any high speed and damage output fighter as you team burst mainly protectors.
This team might struggle against nature builds, super healing builds and fighters builds very unlikely.
Let me know what you think, if you have a better combo to pull of.
Little interrogation here: does Sulfura works from the bench? It would à game changing equipment, specially in antonidas/geddon/diablo starting team combo... giving the extra 20 hp would allow them to survive. And wipe out fighters and enemy of your choice.
Nice Idea but I believe it will be two slow for pvp because of the cool down. With Mulhouse last ability it could be a power house as it will make it trigger twice and also will make it faster
On Trump early access we can see that cool down decrease from the bench, it might change so but if not it would have to be taken in consideration and some late abilities will be available by only spend 3 turn maximum on the benc

what I’m expecting is
add Mercs to every tribes specially dragons.
Coins transfers to another Merc of equal rarity for maxed mercs
ban System in PVP with team of 9 giving acces to more elaborate strategies
buff on attacking abilities in term of damage or cancellation of retaliation damage
special tribe mode in pvp
mercs with caster counter abilities or equipment like Gruul
Yes, the balance of physical attackers hasn’t been done properly, I hope they can fix that quickly

Just wanna know what you feel about the direction Blizzard will take on the next expansion?
will they keep on Adding pirates and murlocs?
should they add demons which actually is a poor archetype?
i personally think they should add some attackers because caster dominate the game
i would like to see Grull and Kurtus like type of mercs more often. Specially a human killer.
the fel class should be reinforced and maybe some frost And arcane abilities which are too rare.
Some legendary Mercs at the bottom of the E rank should also find party mates to empower them ( Jaraxxus, Edwin, Thrall)
And I want to see more Dragons : where are Deathwing, Nozdormu, Malygos, Ysera.
Balance the race is important too me, Beast , troll, undead, Tauren , elfs... stop adding humans and Orcs.

The sulfura line wasn’t very clear to me, but it will be logical to apply just to himsel

I checked kripp video as well and his Xyrella hit the ground with all three abilities available.
