Definitely a good arena type card, but will also be huge for low stats/high cost deathrattle minions (Mechanical Whelp for example). I don't think its going to be a central piece of a deck though, more a it-fits-in-nicely kinda card.
Blizzard really seem to be pushing certain archetypes for Rogue and Druid at the moment (Thief Rogue and Heal Druid in this case) - it seems like the majority of the cards released in this expansion all synergise really well with them
Maybe Spell Hunter was the wrong way of saying it (because you're right, the Spell Hunter that we're used to is pointless with the legendary weapon rotating out).
I was thinking more a Spell-centric hunter, where you rely more heavily on spells then.
Gnarlroot definitely would have some good synergies with Treat druid, but I'm not sure if any amount of treant cards would actually make it a competitive archetype.
So Oblivatron pulls out any mech in your hand, and will trigger a deathrattle if it has one? It could be used in a some sort of half spell hunter, where the only minions you have are things like Mechanical Whelp or maybe just some big fellas like Bull Dozer.
This seems like a card you'll be able to put in any deck and it'll still kinda work - might be a bit slow though, 7 mana do-nothing cards don't tend to do so well on ladder (just look at the Undatakah)
Has there been any indication on how many times these cards upgrade (applies to Togwaggle's one too) and how they upgrade? As in, does it upgrade up to 10 times or so and increase by 1 damage each time?
A lot of cards that work with/benefit from going into fatigue this expansion (looking at you Chef Nomi)

PSEUDO-SPELL HUNTERS RISE UP

That is some solid value, seems like this and the other card revealed today are made to synergise
Looks like Blizzard want Deathrattle Hunter to survive still, maybe with mechs instead of beasts this time around.
This is just a better Stormwatcher.
I wonder if someone is gonna find a way to pull off some sort of meme OTK with this

This could probably be used in a spell hunter archetype, where you can use it for a board clear or push for that final bit of damage

Maybe we can expect some sort of imp synergy for warlock? The scheme is gonna be pretty underwhelming if not
I looks like a really solid deck filler, but the kind of legendary that you'd use if you pack it, but wouldn't necessarily craft it.
I just wanna know why there's such a 5 day gap between the first and second reveal, I don't think I can cope with all this anticipation

Will these be available in the discover/random pool? For example, could Ravencaller produce these?
