Awesome move. After I low-rolled just 4 legendaries in 100 packs on release day, I opened him in golden from the season reward packs on 1st April. Means two legendaries of choice for me now :)
Just broke into lvl 225 and will stop here. All combined I accumulated 14955 gold since the introduction of the reward track, without buying the tavern pass.
I just played a game of tawern brawl and witnessed the same. 0 mana minion from a gift which is a 5 drop normaly, played witchy lackey and resulted into a 1 drop.

Minions show their original mana cost on board, but for the transform-effect the actual played mana cost is used.
Had 2 quests in the account on 08.08. and didn't play at all. Logged in shortly after midnight around 00:15 on 09.08. and got my third quest. Now I log in again and my third quest is gone.
Once again a statistically average opening(totally happy with that), but again with under average pulls in the legendary/epic slot.
117 packs, all from gold. 8 legendaries, none golden and 22 epic + 1 golden
Average dust per pack 99,91
One double leggy pack ... being Darkbishop Benedictus and Maestra of the Masquerade :/
The rest being both legendaries from DH and Shaman, Warrior quest and the Warlock legendary minion.
Level 20 of the track gave me the Priest quest
All in all, meeh...

What if small streamers or non-streamers do it? Is it still cheating?
Exactly the same. Replaying chapter 1 didnt help. No further idea
And I thought, I'm just very unlucky atm.
Friday: Got 50g, rerolled into 50g
Saturday: the same
Sunday: Got a 60g, rerolled an old 50g into a new 50g
Before the latest patch I rarely got a 50g quest in general, and if so, I always rerolled it into 60g.
The daily quest you get at the start of a new day will be a normal one.
When the event starts later that day, an event quest will be forced into your account.
So 2 quests in the log at the start of the event is max value.
Rerolling these 2 standard quest will award you event quests.
During the event 60 gold/dust quests are a mandatory reroll, as you can't get a quest lower than 60.
At least this is how 2019's Lunar event worked.
