I played her in Corina control and she was super good tool to stabilize against aggressive decks. She doesn't need that much attack, 5 is very easy to achieve and often more than enough to remove any threat (with her challenger of course). Her health + tough makes her super hard to remove. There is no need to buff her, she is just not an aggro card.
It's technically correct. The card has "I've survived damage", not "I've taken and survived damage". So, if any effect deals x damage (x may be 0) to a target and it survived, the ability pops. Same with barrier and tough.
1) Watch some streamers, like swim (my personal favourite). You'll be surprised, like me, how many mistakes you make when playing this game, especially with "hard" decks. Btw, swim also has a website with some decks: https://www.swimstrim.com/
2) Don't play when tilted. When I see my opponent is drawing nuts, answering my every play... Just stop, get some drink, relax. Playing in this state will only make you whine on the internet about some "broken decks that "insert something"".
3) Most important: enjoy this game.
Also, try to craft decks that use cards you already have. You'll save yourself a lot of pain later. And don't craft teemo :p

Are you sure that they did not have overwhelm? Because if they did, everything works as intented.

Hope I helped a bit ;)
Thanks for the answer, now that makes some sense. So know, let's find a way to force him to give silence, if it's possible.
Hi everyone,
Try to guess: which card is guaranteed to NOT appear in zephrys pool when Rouge plays necrium apothecary?
Anyone facing similar situation?
