No wishing for more wishes, huh? Tell that to my Hex Lord Malacrass. Wasn't sure if it would, but he returns a copy of your first wish to your hand.
Definitely getting this. Been trying to build up my collection of wild cards.
Just about all control decks get hate from aggro players. Just the nature of the game. Unfortunately, there's so many good ways to fill a board right now that it's hard to get anywhere with a pure control strategy. We'll have to see how things change with the next rotation.
Been having some fun playing Waxmancy. Lose almost every time against Pogos, but real decent chance against any other deck. Actually come close to beating one Pogo Rogue. Discovered Flik on turn 4, but unfortunately, opponent had lethal on the board and I was out of Mana. If only it came a turn sooner. Lol
Running pretty much the same deck, but substituted 2 Call to Adventure, 1 Desperate Measures, and 1 Getaway Kodo. Has worked pretty good so far. Only a few high-rolls and an Edwin Rogue have got the best of me.
Well, answering my own question... No. You won't get another pack for completing the replacement brawl. Oh well, sounded good in my head. Lol.
So if I completed the brawl before it got pulled, can I get another pack from the replacement? That would definitely be cool.
Thanks for another really informative lore post. Really love reading all these to learn more about the world of Azeroth.
Exactly my problem, only I tried to download the update in app real quick. Wouldn't work over Wi-Fi or Cellular. Just gave me an error about the network. Checked the Play Store just to see and they showed no updates available. Was there on my next break though, so at least I got some play time in.
Took a couple hours, but finally updated for me too. Guess I just hit it at the wrong time. Felt bad because it was the only time I had to play for a while.
Fun. Client requesting update on mobile, but won't download it yet and there's no update listed on the Play Store yet. Wish they'd at least wait until the update could be published on the respective stores. Now I can't play for a while.
Just want to drop a really big "Thank You" to Flux and the entire content team here at Outof.cards. You guys do an amazing job, and have created one of the best communities I've found for Hearthstone and other digital card games. I look forward to seeing the direction you take this site and this community in the future.
Just bought League of Explorers expansion and completed normal mode and the class challenges. Thinking I might give Heroic a try to get this card back.
Really seems almost like the devs are more concerned with Battlegrounds now than the problems in the main game. I honestly expected heavier needs to more cards. Frankly, Shaman still has an absolute insane amount of value from a handful of cards. The double Invoke from Corrupt Elementalist should simply have been dropped to a single Invoke. A 3/3 and a 2/1 rush for 5 Mana is plenty fair. Invocation of Frost was one I honestly expected to see hit. One Mana to freeze a minion and generate a 2/1 rush minion is pretty strong. Two of these early is more than enough to trigger Dragon's Pack and provide even more crazy value. Faceless Corruptor while definitely overpowered and still incredibly strong at 4/4 is at least available to all classes, so I hate this card a little less. And Mogu Fleshshaper is still busted. There needs to be a couple more minions on the board, and they get a random 10-drop instead. That really doesn't solve the issue with the card at all, and may potentially make it worse depending on what it evolves into. Hopefully, taken together, there's enough tools in competing decks to slow Shaman down a bit, but I still think we're in for a lot of Shaman everywhere for a while. There's just absolutely too much value in the class right now. Unless they're draw is just garbage they can easily control the board in almost any matchup.
Sorry, got this mixed up with another article... There's a client update with balance adjustments coming within the next week.
They obviously knew before release, since they've publicly stated many times that it takes at least 2 weeks to push a client side update. That means they've been planning this since before the new expansion went live.
As easy and quick as it is for Shaman to invoke, Dragon's Pack is extremely broken. Two 5/6 taunt minions on turn five is extremely difficult for most classes to remove. Even worse when they drop a second one on turn 6. I honestly believe the card would have been better as a single 2/3 with a +3/+3 after invoking twice. Maybe after invoking once as a vanilla 2/3 taunt for 5 is pretty anemic. Waiting to see how Blizz responds though.
Is it just me, or has the number of bugs and "technical difficulties" increased dramatically since the last expansion dropped? Can't say I really experienced any game breaking issues until SOU hit the deck. Since then, it's been at least one or two serious problems almost every time. I've only been playing a little over a year, but this is the worst state I've ever seen this game in.
And I would have the win 3 brawls quest...
Control Shaman, I think is in a good spot right now. I've been running my own non-highlander version for a couple of weeks now and have done quite well for the most part. There's so many aggro decks fighting to dominate that a strong control deck can get quite a few wins. Shaman has so many good tools right now to control the board that it can just ruin an aggro player's day. Hagatha's Scheme, Plague of Murlocs, Earth Shock, Earthquake, Hex, Hagatha the Witch, Shudderwock, Swampqueen Hagatha... I just find that the deck is fun and interesting to play and even though I don't have the time or desire to "get gud" like they say, I have had really good success with it so far.
