I dunno, it’s still early but I’m loving it in death & taxes Demon Hunter in wild. Still haven’t tried it in an Il’gynoth or dedicated quest deck yet (whatever that may be) but it’s been surprisingly fun and more effective than I thought it would be. Definitely not the highlight quest of the expansion but still very interesting thus far. We’ll see how it develops into the future.

Thank you for the additional tips! Neeru was the card I wanted the most out of Barrens as well despite not figuring out how to utilize him best for months now. I’m so happy that he may slot into a ridiculous kind of deck like this-his effect is just so much fun! I was also thinking Reno for the late heal to get me over the finish line once I’ve achieved quest completion/fatigue state. The only downside is that Reno competes with Hemet for the tutor effect of Taelan Fordring…if you would even run him in this deck for Hemet pulling purposes.

I’ve been sitting on Neeru Fireblade since the Barrens launch, and I just pulled The Demon Seed over the release weekend! I’m going to be building the Hemet/Neeru version tomorrow and trying it out. Hoping for some fun games with it

I don’t think the interaction between Darkbishop Benedictus and Seek Guidance is going to work. I know the quest starts in your hand, not your deck, but I think Benny scans the deck before cards are drawn, meaning he would detect a non-shadow spell in Seek Guidance. While I haven’t tested this obviously and could be wrong, I’m basing this off the fact that people don’t run quests in Even decks in Wild. The same logic would apply if the quest were your only Odd cost card and you drew it in your starting hand so that Glenn could scan the deck and not see it. However, I’m assuming since quests aren’t played that doesn’t work. Maybe I’m wrong though!

Any substitution for N’Zoth? I really want to try this kind of deck out but I do not have him, sadly. Looks fun!
