    Also you can put Laday Prestor in your deck as top end. After you done the quest you can turn 3-5 leftover cheap pirate into Dragon as another win condition

    I feel glad that Control Warrior will play both Alex and Ysera without thingking, just like the old GvG days  lol. Maybe even Grom, because Grom benefit alot from new Ysera so you can expect burst for 14 from him 100% of the time now

    Control Warrior look good. Main tools like Brawl, Shieldslam still in. So the aggro matchup still be good. About slow matchup, the main foe of Control Warrior are Control Priest and Controlock. Control Priest lose Galakrond and Thoughsteal which were 2 free win cards  in CW matchup, if they wont get something similar this expansion , Control Warrior can actually fatigue them out.

    Controlock is another story though, beside Tickakus now they even have the crazy buffed Jaraxxus. So in order to win Control Warrior need a strong finisher. Enrage Grom with +4 buff from Ysera and weapon can hit for +15 dmg, if Rattlegore also on board then it can be enough. But require a lot of card and Tickakus threat can come faster. We hope there will be more options for CW in control matchup in this expansion.

    Warrior core set is pretty much the same. A lot of ppl moaning about Shieldblock but Shieldmaiden is a better card than Shieldblock. In GvG era a lot of CW deck drop 1 Shieldblock to put 2 Shieldmaiden in. And I am sure they will print even better armor card to replace Shieldblock in the next set, so we have nothing to worry about.

    Warrior currently lack 6 drop so this one is better than nothing I guess. Obviously a 5/5 in turn 6 doesnt mean anything in today standard, but atleast you can apply pressure your opponent in slow matchup.

    Still no where good enough in today power standard. In oder to be playabe and worthy of legendary status , this card shoud has Rush, while Baine has Taunt.

    Well 2 more hp is ok but the main selling point of the card, the AOE is just not good enough in today metas. It need to deal 3 damage otherwise this card is just a little better War Golem

    As a CW main for 6 year I can assure you every CW deck will run at least 1 copy of this card, 2 if there is no better value generator in the next expansion for the class

    The main thing is you can tempo this out when play vs better control deck like Warlock so I think this is a simple but nice card for Control Warrior

    As an avid Hearthstone control player also started from TGT era till now , I suggest you give Mythgard a try. Very smart mix of color/mana system which the best of both Hearthstone and MTG system. Apart from Lore , which Hearthstone benefits greatly from Blizzard WOW universe and fanbase, the gameplay blow Hearthstone out of the water, but not too complex to make your head hurt like Magic.  Too bad this game comes from a small studio SO it really underrated

    Actually, this is a very nice combo for control deck and make this card much more playable. I.e put 2 doomsayers in your deck. One can be used early game vs aggro, and late game the other one can combo with this card if a big clear needed. Both the doomsayers and Silas can be use when needed , so the combo is very flexible for a control deck

    ehh... execute require a damage minions . Since execute mostly play in Control Warrior which always behind on board, usually you need to play something to damage that minion, so your execute cost more than it looks. Thats why no warrior deck run Execute at the moment, because we do not have any weapon give free ww like Death's bite or Blood razor.

    So you know what beatiful about this card. There are lots of 1 cost card for Warrior at the moment . Sword and Board, Lackey , Shield Slam and discount Cutclass forexample, make this 4 mana uncoditional removal while doing something else on board, which is exellent. 

    Also do not underestimate the Headmaster + Coerce combo. Provide huge late game swing turn.

    Your point make nosense. Everyone try mulligan low cost cards in their starting hand as a general rule. So there are much more chance you got higher cost cards from your opponent deck than you thought.

    There is a Warhammer based card games : Horus Heresy Legions which copies 95% of Hearthstone combat system. So there is a 3 mana 2/3 legendary which exactly the same ability of this card, but weaker since it just copy but doesn't reduce the cost. Guess what ? That card in every freaking decks of that game since its launch , from Aggro to Control. So I dare to say that this card will be in every control deck until rotate out of Standard.

    Well Control Warrior have near zero chance vs Control Priest anyway. Even this card has Rush Divine Shield Windfury  it still useless vs Priest.

    But if you play vs Druid , Paladin, Hunter, Warlock, other Warrior, this card is game breaking if you not die the turn you play this, which Warrior players can afford.

    This card and the new Reaper are made for each other. Reaper reduce cost of this card to a mere 1 mana, and this card active the weapon spellburt ability for 1 mana. So a turn 5 deal 4 dmg AOE while drawing 2 cards sound like a good swing turn to me. 

    Skipper armorsmith battlerage and ancharr combo is amazing, but at the cost of 7 cards in deck and you have to hold cards for that. This combo deal better AOE and draw little less card, but only cost 4 deck slot and you dont have to hold on much. You can just play weapon on curve then draw next turn while spellburst for example. That 3 extra deck slot are huge if Warrior get better armor gain cards than armoramith this year. And you can afford to have a tech card , which what CW needs

    Crazy combo with the new 5 mana Cutting Class , because in turn 5 you spend just 1 mana for 4 dmg cleave and draw 2 cards. Win games vs aggro on its own. Even more crazier is turn 4 equip this, hit. Turn 5 play the 5 mana Doctor to buff to 5 attack then draw 2 cards, while have 5 cleave and 4/4 Rush body on board. Insane. Also with cheap spell like Sword and Board, Shieldslam still being played in all list, very easy to activate this weapon spell burst . Screw Skipper. Who need him when this weapon make you solo the board and draw cards like a boss. Save a lot of deckslot.

    I think ppl really bad at reviewing cards. This is one of the best card warrior have this expansion.

    2 mana cheaper is huge, because it will ruin any openning of agressive decks. Image the normal play of a CW. Pass turn 1. Aggro deck . Play a 2/1. CW armor up turn 2. Aggro deck play a 3/2. CW play this one turn 3 and both dead.lol

    Like supercollider, this card is also an exellent anti midrange tool. 1use is enough, because it is only cost you 3 mana

    Both Ritual Axe and Awaken are exellent control warrior tools. I have no idea why ppl think Galakrond is for aggro only.

    Ramming speed is seriously underestimated by ppl again, just like when they introduced Super Collider. The thing is it is 2 mana cheaper is huge. If you have this spell on turn 3 any aggro sure fail, if it is not already. Any midrange dragon will stall just by a 3 mana card.7 mana Galakrond shaman summon 2 8/8. You laugh and kill both of them spending only 3 mana, and even without taking face damage.
