Personally, I've had no problems crushing with my Midrange Bannerman. I really like that deck because it seems like I can always find a way to get myself out of a doom situation.
I haven't really scouted any decklists but I realllly want to make something work around Miss Fortune.
Personally, I am going to get all my region roads completed (2/7 so far). I think I have used only one wild card since the Open Beta launch (an epic). I see no point in using any wild cards at all until I complete the region roads. Yeah, the weekly vaults are a crapshoot, so that's just bonus to me.
If there is a deck I reallllllly wanna try (and I already have the Champions), I will use shards on the Coms, rares, Epics. They replenish pretty fast and until this new set came out I almost had everything anyways.
Sooooo.... gonna see how the meta shakes out and if my current (old) decks start to suck then I will go from there.
I will say this... I am damn tempted to get 3x Miss Fortune.
I have been playing since the day GvG came out and actutally only had him on 1 of my 8 accs. So it's actually been pretty damn awesome for me, because I crafted golden versions of him on all 7 other names and damn! Where has he been all my life! I've closed out many games already with him, including the very first one after I put him into a deck.
I love playing Wild, so it's great. My Standard and Wild ranks are almost always neck and neck. I seriously don't understand why people dust stuff when it goes into Wild.
I have a Mech Mage deck that has been damn near the exact same since GvG came out that still crushes. It's funny as hell because I can just tell that my opponent has never seen a Mechwarper or Snowchugger before. It's hilarious when my aggro MechMage becomes an accidental control deck because they have no idea wtf is going on lol.
Explosive Sheep, Goblin Blastmage and Micro Machine seem to just really befuddle some opponents. I love it.
EDIT: Like just earlier today, I had double Mechwarpers out and 2 other mechs... I played 5 SnipSnaps on turn 5 and just decimated that poor fellow.
Well I started playing the day GvG came out and I dunno.... I just got out of control lol. I only played casual at first and so I was always looking for more rewards to get. I have since refined what I'm up to. I have a "Main" name, where I never get rid of anything besides extras. All the other names are kinna like a testing ground for shit I am thinking about putting in my main acc. So the other names consist of only 1 class. I dust all other shit besides nuetral cards. I can rack up a TON of dust that way and try out all the Tier 1 decks. If I like them, I then integrate them into my main acc. I am doing the same with LoR.... albeit with just 2 accounts. It's nice to be able to try out wacky stuff on an acc that really doesn't matter.
Example given... I fully crafted the Galakrond Shaman on an alt acc and then it got ultra nerfed. This saved me precioues resources on my main acc. I am fully F2P. So my main acc is my special baby lol.
I am a shameless Elusive player... I win a ton of games with that type of deck, so I use it. That said, I do think they are a massive problem. On the flip side, the updates have made my decks' WR go down a lil bit or at least make it harder to pull out the victory. I am waiting for the true launch to actually spend all my shards/wild cards. I have bad luck with crafting shit and then having it nerfed. It's OPEN BETA guys! Of course it's not going to be ultra refined.
I thought you would get the full crafting value back for the highest value version you have... so 3200 dust for the golden... then you still actually get to keep the card, so if you in turn disenchanted that, wouldn't it be 4800 dust?
Title pretty much says it all. I have 8 HS accounts and all have a bunch of dust. I have Leroy's on a couple names but I am wondering if this would be the thing to do... Craft Golden versions of Leroy, get 3200 dust right back, then (On some of my names) just disenchant that for 1600 more.
I made a cheese deck with 2x Lucian, 2x Garen and 2x Darius. My first game I had played one of each. The rest was a mix I can't remember. No WAY it shouldn't have completed my quest.
Simply put. I have a quest today to play 3 Champions from Demacia or Noxus. I played 3 games vs AI and played a total of 5 champions from said regions. It still only said 1/3. So I switched to a PvP game and played another 1 or 2 champions, only for it to STILL say 1/3.
I tried logging out and then back in. Still the same. I don't want to reroll it because it's an easy quest. This is frustrating as it seems to happen to me quite often.
I have had multiple issues with it only counting a small portion (or none at all) of whatever I needed to achieve. I noticed that if I switched from playing AI to regular PVP it seems to not do that hardly at all, but still has a few times. It was way more prevelant in the first week-ish.

Same here... maybe 5 mins. BUT I did have issues with it not recording it when I KNOW I completed two quests.
It did the same thing when open beta started then went away. SO I assume there are simply just some kinks to work out.

Hmmm..... sounds like a re-roll is in order then. Sucks too because as worded, it's a super easy quest.
Bystekhilcar ...thanks for dropping out a poential cause for this happening. It makes sense.
Ideas you posted that I really like:
1. "Player should be able to set the art for each deck image. (Right now, it seems to default to the most powerful Champion in the deck.)"
2. "Option for a more compact deck list would be nice." I find it quite annoying that I can't see my entire decklist without scrolling.
3. I also agree you should be able to see the XP needed to lvl up without having to go to the "Change Region" menu
