I'm more disappointed in the community for acting the way they did (reddit mainly). It will always take time for a large company to go through the processes to make an announcement, and that's after they figure out what to do. The silence definitely sucked, even a "we're still working out the details" would have been nice, but we knew they weren't going to let this be the failure of the game.
I'd still really like to see a bonus chunk of XP for completing your weekly brawl as a further incentive for people to dive into the mode for a couple of games a week, but this is 100% a step in the right direction. Reward consistency is so key to making it feel like a good experience and they've hit the nail on the head by not only reducing XP required but also by putting more gains into the system.
I'm assuming we'll continue to see Landmarks added since Riot likes the card type. Also, this one is Rare over the usual Epic that Landmarks have been so it seems like there may be a rare and epic for each region at some point.

The ads will auto-play but are supposed to do so muted. It's good to hear they are muted now for you. If anyone else has any issues with sound automatically playing from them, please reach out!
The right-side close button is, unfortunately, not configurable.
Okay, it looks like on the recent thread page specifically, there's an overflow with the content which is why the x can't be touched without the horizontal scroll - will make sure we get this fixed. If there are other pages you see this happening on, please do provide URLs so we can see what's going on.
To be clear, the video ad unit should never play sounds unless you specifically interact with it. Is there a specific ad you've seen that is doing it or is it something you've seen on all pages? I haven't had any auto-sound appear during testing and seeing it live, though I do know this is an issue with some other providers.
And for the images, they don't embed because that isn't a direct link to the image. Image hosts nowadays don't give you a direct link but rather a page link that has the image embedded on the page. This can't work on our image embeds because it would be embedding an entire web page as an image which isn't possible. You can typically long-press said image to retrieve the "image address" and use that to embed it here, though links are just as fine too. You're looking for an image extension (png, jpg, jpeg, gif) at the end of an image's URL to confirm that it is a direct link to the image file itself that will embed.

If you're having fun with Hearthstone, that's a good thing! While there are problems with Blizzard's communication on the new system, all we're really seeing is the vocal minority once again being out of control without using critical thinking skills.
I still put the blame on Blizzard, they are the ones that continue to refuse to communicate the full extent of the battle pass, but the way the community is handling the situation is a bit much. With the way the vocal minority has been going about it, you'd think we're all under Hitler's rule. I'm actually a bit curious if half the people complaining about stuff have even played the game in recent years.
Again, I'm not saying people are in the wrong for being angry, everyone is allowed to feel the way they feel, but the hatred that is ongoing is so misguided it's just sad. Stay constructive, hold others to a constructive attitude, and ultimately understand that the real issue is that Blizzard has bad communication.
Enjoy the game, spread your love for it, and if anyone on this site is harassing you because you said something positive about your experiences, I have no issues putting out warnings and potentially banning accounts of people who want to drive things off-topic.
I want it to be known that anyone who has uploaded their collection over the past day has had their collection automatically synced onto the site again since we keep a history of your uploads and were able to do that.
Anyone before that, please resync with HDT to ensure we have the latest collection data for you. Having HDT loaded and going into your collection will start the process.
Kiri, Chosen of Elune is played even less with only 1.2% of decks above Diamond 4 including it. Winrate remains bad at 43%.
Definitely not the right flavor for Druid right now, but that's okay, I still think Solar Eclipse is a cool card and there's a good chance we could see more support for it in the mini-set coming up that extends Darkmoon Faire or the first expansion next year.
That's one of the most fun things about card game releases. You get these tools that aren't immediately great but they almost always get a follow-up.

Which version of chrome are you using? (Or other web browser)

Priest is usually slow to ramp up so things should look very different next week!
