    Who needs that Amara?

You do, if you want to have your health set to 40 in the middle of a game (when you're almost dead) instead of at the beginning, when it's far less impactful.

Backfired? Hardly. If I was in fact trolling, then it succeeded brilliantly.

I really should just put "/sarcasm" in my sig so people can recognize my brilliance as it unfolds. But we don't have sigs here, do we ... I guess this whole mess is all outof.cards' fault, really.

None of this has rush or taunt, so all I see is a nerf of the Colossal pool for poor Faelin.

Wow, you think I honestly care about the feelings or gender identity of a big gross monster? It was a joke, y'all. Get a grip.

What's up with referring to elemental lords as "it"? World of Warcraft canon consistently refers to them with "he/him" pronouns, so I find it creepy and disrespectful that you'd go out of your way to try to erase their gender, especially when calling Ozumat a "patriarch" in the same article.

Have they ever mentioned anything about the Alterac board in constructed causing disconnects? It's a very real, reproducible bug.

The rewards do not get "exponentially" better. In fact, the increase is the most trivial flavor of linear until you get your ninth win.

Cute idea, but far more likely to win with plain old big minions.

I disagree -- they absolutely should nerf the whole Naga DH archetype into oblivion -- that would not not make the class unplayable. The reason we don't see other DH archetypes right now is because Naga DH is so ridiculously OP.

I never thought I'd miss seeing Deathrattle DH.

In Old Guardian's guide, Icehowl's very first attack is to the left. https://youtu.be/-sgJlr1-p5Y

    Is that tangible enough?

It's omitted from your listing of his moves, and your setup is not optimal if we assume left and right are equally likely, which they probably are.

The best setup is to alternate mercs and blocks, so that the ice blocks start in positions 2 and 4. You will always have time to slide a block to receive his charge because the blocks are faster than Icehowl.

The exception is when he charges center and you summon a minion, but summoning is a terrible idea for this task, so that should not be a problem.

I beg to differ. Blood Magic is a LOT worse than this.

Why are we pretending Icehowl never charges left? He definitely charges left sometimes.

Seems problematic to call Foxy Fraud a "creature."

Playing 4 Dragons is a fairly hefty requirement but should be achievable in most Dragon strategies.

Actually, no, it's pretty easy when you have cards like Amalgam. So now not only is Druid still using Kazakusan, but we'll be seeing more of it than ever in other classes as well.

Pirate Warrior wins all too often without even completing the questline, but at least they hit Pufferfist as well.

Switcheroo change is perfect -- it's still a usable card, but now the nightmare can finally end.

And, of course, LOVE the Kazakusan change. This is what it should have been in the first place. Did they really think the empty-deck strategy wouldn't be abused, especially by a class like Druid that has 20 mana and tons of card draw effects to spend it on?

Who could have possibly foreseen that mana cheat would cause problems in Hearthstone?

Oh, that's right -- LITERALLY EVERYONE.

Seems like the "not less than (1)" rule should apply to Shadowstep, just as it does to so many other mana cheats. It should not get a pass because some people consider it "iconic."

People say they are weak because they cost too much (by about 1.5 mana), but then the same people also dismiss the damage effect because "you can just pay 2 to get rid of it early."

C'mon guys, either the 2 mana is important or it isn't. You can't have it both ways!

Holy Maki Roll is absolutely a pun on the phrase "holy mackerel," which is a slightly old-fashioned expression of surprise.

That small increment is exactly what I'm talking about, though. You may consider it negligible, but I do not. I'm glad we finally agree that it exists.
