I think you misinterpreted both this article and my response, i don't want to sound rude.
The average dust value of a pack is 102.something, is that from 2014 and takes in consideration everything. That it's correct, there isn't any more math needed.
In the article then the 2 random legendaries are valued, wrongly, 3200. 1600 isn't the value of a random legendary, 1600 is the value of a wanted legendary.
400 is the value of a random legendary.
EDIT: i think the mistake comes from the part when Flux says "if you only care for the legendaries", he is referring to those 2 legendaries in the bundle, not legendaries in general
Blizzard pulling a "listening the playerbase" to make themselves look good, when those rewards were ridiculous in the first place and so clear they had to be changed.
Most of the playerbase isn't just mad for this grindy and bad rewards track, we are because the game is too greedy, it costs too much money/time to get basically nothing.
If you are unlucky, with the 80 pack bundle, you can find only 2 legendaries; the chance is low, but with the high amount of bundles ordered this surely happened. 80 $/€ for like 1/3 of the expansion, with most legendaries missing.
Oh, let's just put a mini expansion in the middle of every main expansion, because why not.
The joke that is the rewards track was just the spark that let most people realize how this game treats their customers in general. It tells a lot when people want to return to the old system, which was very bad already.
Then it is normal to complain in ladder there are always the same 2-3 net-decks, people can just build 1-2 decks, we can't afford to craft cards to experiment because they cost too much
I'm glad i'm not the only one that finds the interface very confusing, going from "having too many deck slots is confusing" to this mess is a complete change of mind by them.
Also, about the comment, don't feel bad. Negativity is wrong when is an end in itself; this is a rightfull complain to something that is not ok
I took a pause from hearthstone because my patience reached the lowest peak with it, but today i wanted to see the news; the first thing appearing in front of my eyes:
Lee Sin was the reason why decks good versus aggro decks weren't played, nerfing Lee Sin is a indirect nerf to aggro (aggro decks prey on Lee Sin, while Lee Sin keeps decks that can beat aggro out of the game) so i'm ok with nerfing "only" make it rain for burn
What? No

I don't want to be that guy, but the math is way off.
The 102 average dust per pack is the amount of dust you get by disenchanting the cards in the pack, so the average DE value.
To sum the dust value of the 2 legendiaries to the one of the packs, you have to consider the DE value, not the dust needed to create the cards.
So it's 800 for both, not 3200.
As always, they won the gold medal at sistematically avoid thorny topics

Can someone explain me the joke? Also, why the comment has that many downvotes?
$200000? The winner will be able to use his earnings to buy packs and almost craft 2 legendaries!
I mean, you are asking for some math to the same person that did 2020 - 2014 = 8
(not hating, i just found it funny; i know it's just a small miscalculation)

It's kinda the Keleseth of only spell mage. Not a fan of highroll cards (pt. 3)
A way more balanced Aluneth for secret mage in standard
I'd say in that case the problem is even worse, as the card will work virtually as Luna's pocket galaxy; when mages played it turn 7 it wasn't fun
I think this card is very good actually
Don't like it, if you draw it early in a deck build around it it's nuts, if you don't your decks doesn't work.
Not a fan of highroll cards (pt.2)
Not a big fan of highroll cards
Came for runeterra, stayed for the math lesson
Blizzard, you know, it's possible to create minions who don't have rush
Wronchi's animations make me happy

i guess the pause will be longer than expected

As someone who istantly concede as soon as Solarian Prime enter the battlefield at turn 7, i'm happy
