Leona seems pretty easy to level up, then if she is levelled up on the board and you have another couple of daybreak units too, playing morning light is basically going to stun the whole opponent's board and probably win the game
Also, would be sunburst the only card that can silence champions too?
Whimsy! Seems a great spell, it doesn't target champions, but versus followers it's one of the best combat tricks.
Lulu seems pretty easy to level up because she doesn't require to be on the board; help, Pix! Is a cool reward, because we don't have any way to give vulnerable to an enemy at burst speed right now.
Maybe gems will make Lee Sin more viable, the gems level him up, give him challenger and barrier, and increase his attack
Edit: gems sinergy with Vi is even higher, healing a tough unit has more value, and it helps her to reach 10 attack to level up; support allies who give stats to a challenger + tough unit are very appreciated as well.
not only that but in PnZ gems have sinergy with leveled up Ezrael too
Well 5000 is more or less what i earn for every expansion, so if i earn that plus other things (even if their value is less) i'd be ok with the new system.
The most important part is that it won't feel like a grind, and that winning isn't much more important than losing for exp
2 random legendaries at that point will not make up for it, both for f2p and not f2p.
Especially when you already crafted the legendaries you want
EDIT: from a rough calculation, with the 9000 exp for week, you should get your first legendary card at the end of the second week, and the second one much later (edit: calculated, it comes the 10th week) this if you get max exp every week (we can't say if it will be easy or not)
It's ok in games like LoR because obtaining cards is much easier (i'm f2p and have the whole collection, and still some resources) where you can easily craft what you need
In hearthstone it will be brutal, especially when finding good cards in a pack is very hard (i opened 53 packs of the new exp and only found 2 legendaries) and so you are almost forced to craft them for a high cost.
Now we will be forced to open packs of the current expansion and past expansions, so you have to craft what you need to play a deck (let's be real, even the big 80 cards bundle won't be enough, and we are talking a lot of money here, more than a good game you can just buy) this means opening those packs will just be collecting dust.
They have at least to change the rate of finding a legendary, right now it's ridicolous, in 80 packs you can just find 2 legendaries if you are unlucky, this is a good reason for me to never spend a cent in this game. They just should do more cosmetic things to balance the new rate. Still i'd hate the new system.
The feel you have to grind for the rewards isn't nice too, a lot of people don't have time, some don't want, some just can't play another game after losing to a bs and have to cool down (talking about me). If winning rewards more exp than losing it will be even worse, already people only play tier 1 decks all day, this will be a reason to do that even more.
So i can only see bad things about this new system, but i guess is going to come and stay. Too bad.
Losing to random bullshit isn't fine, your opponent gk rogue shouldn't win when they don't have anymore cards in hand and are almost in fatigue. But they find a draconic lackey who gives them DQ alex (i swear is the most discovered card against me) so they win i guess; nice deck the first hour of the new expansion by the way.
Also, how it is possible that in the first hour i played the same druid deck 4 times (in like 7 games i had)? Do people know that if you don't play a tier 1 deck your account will not be erased, your cards will not be disenchanted and a blizzard employee will not come to your house to tell you you suck?
I think the few games Stelina will win removing the only options from your opponents are way less than the games she make you lose by the drop in tempo.
Cards on the board are worth much more than cards that aren't in play
Excatly, while i think the effect to remove a card from your opponent is good, the decks that want this effect (aggressive decks) don't want to play a 4 mana 4/3
Two games in a row: my opponent highlander hunter's transfer student obviously had the discover a dragon effect (which gave him the 2/3 poisonus dragon who discovered alex DQ) and my opponent galakrond rogue's transfer student had add a lackey to your hand who gave my opponent enough tempo to win the game (she even got an 8/8 from evolving miscreant).
I can't wait for the new set... What? Transfer student is from the new set? Nevermind then

"it's always Monday for us"
- how me and my coworkers feel at job
Nocturne feels pretty strong, it's already useful before levelling up, and the level up is similar in a way to Ashe's.
The other cards are nice too, especially summoning mistwraiths at burst speed and having a 1 mana cost burst spell perfect for nightfall cards
EDIT: for some reason my brain believed stalking shadows costed 4 mana instead of 2, that card is nuts

A good step in the right direction

I don't mind them. I'm just a bit annoyed that i recognize cards just by their art, can't remember a name
I have to admit i'm pretty exited
i just went on twitch to watch some games and Thijs, RDU and Orange are playing the exact same druid deck with maly.
I don't think there is much more to add
edit: apparently Feno too

I don't watch a lot of hearthstone in twitch but yesterday i did...but i wasn't logged in... Feelsbadman
Already tired of the new expansion.

The tri-regions singleton sounds fun!
I agree on this point, Lazul and Stelina don't have much in common, while her disruptive potential is much more similar to Loatheb.
I was only focusing on the power of the card in both the responses to your post and OP's post, my bad
No, Loatheb is on another level completely.

I think there are even more cards, on top of my head Frizz Kindleroost was so overrated and it should be in the list
