I agree Flux. And to be honest, I am very scared that Blizz cannot do this.
The WoW-team seems to be the main problem. Above thr toxic culture, look at their game. They give a shit-mount if you have a 6 month subscription and thats it. They have your money and they dont care about the game. There are many developers who cant be who they want to be and actually contribute in improving the game.
If I look at HS, main developers spoke out and every time a icon of the team leaves some else steps up. Look at Liv Breeden now, she is so passionate and really wants to deliver a expansions she and the gamers should enjoy.
But the rest of Blizzard is just so corporate. Make 400m profit and fire the whole PR-departement. We have seen the results in every single scandal the media found, it is always a weak respons from Blizzard.
The end my too long argument. Blizzard wants rainbowscolors and free speech, but at this moment they just dont deliver every single time they have the chance to show their support with their own community. And that hurts. It hurts us and it hurts the developers who truely believe in the good cause.
I agree. But the problem is that the culture of the company is toxic. As it turns out, even HR and contact persons leaked personal complaints of employees.
I am very disappointed in how Blizzard used Rainbowcolors to cover up things like these.
I hope Blizzard can reinvent itself, because a good company culture creates a innovatie workflow.
Currently only the HS-team is delivering what can be expected.
Look at all the issues at the Wow-team and relate that to this behaviour.
I am also a WoW-player. It looks like the Hearthstone-team has much more innovation and creativity than WoW.
Imagine if a team with this spirit and motivation develops WoW. HS-devs are telling players what their fun with the game is and creating expansions because they think gamers love it. Big love for developers like Liv Breeden and others.
WoW-devs are telling players what they should do to have fun and why it is fun. That is not how you design a game.
Absolutely agree on Tradeable! It's Hearthstone's version of "cycling" in Magic: the Gathering, probably the most popular keyword ever created in that game.
It's a perfect fit for a number of situations:
- Tech cards
- Combo decks
- Classes that have limited card draw
- Decks that care about the location of cards in your hand (demon hunters currently, but we had a few warlock cards in the past where it was important)
I could definitely see it as a toned-down alternative to Discover and other card generation effects going forward.
Agreed, we have now that Casino-priest as a result and we all know the shape shaman was in at the start of the expansion. One card solved its probem.
I play WoW aswell and the development of that game is a bit messy as well. It has huge competition from other MMORPG, but somehow it managed to create a contentdrought of 9 months. Shadowlands was so promising (still is).
For Heartstone I do think that the mini-set saved the meta, as the cards are pretty fun.
Well, it doesn't save the portret. It would have been nice to have some Nightmare stuff in his portret. Or maybe the shape of Xavius in the background.
However, it is freedom of art and the color palette is awesome.
So Blizzard is finally creating the eco system that will consume all our leisure time.
I was already soendjng my time on bkth games and WoW just had its bonus mount. Not sure how thjs turns out.
Please explain how developing a new game mode is a cash grab?
That Deathwing card is so awesome. Look at the madness he displays
Hahah, I had the same feeling.
Also, Westfall is desert as well
The powerlevel of shaman is insane. Very fun cards to toy with, but I fear the day it gets more draw-options.
I really like the story on most of the questlines. It is very understandable from the images
There are several NPC's named after employees who allegedly harrased others. I think they will remove or rename them.

Does anyone really care about a analysis of this card. CHOO CHOO Hypetrain

Well, each expansion has its own flavor of keywords that rotate out after two years. So I think it is fine.
However, Tradeable might join the evergreen keywords like Rush, Discover and Lifesteal did.
I was sarcastic, I expected a heroic citizen of Stormwind. Like one of the statues outside SW.
This hero will play huge part in the story of mercenaries.
A very nice Alliance-hero for the pre-purchase. POG!
Expansion seems fun, nice designs and card texts!
This was an awesome read? Where did you the text? Or did you came up with it yourself.
I love Hearthstone because of the simple, understable art on the cards. Most cards feature some jokes or small, funny actions.
Magic Trick's golden animation is one of my all time favourites.

I am expecting a leveling zone in the Eastern Kingdoms where you could level from 20 to 40, as the Barrens is in Kalimdor 10-20.
Means last expansion will handle Classic lvl 60 (Alterac Valley? Dwarfhype)
The faces of those cards could have been better.
