Yes pass will reset every expansion, the same as bonuses from packs to BG.
As far I understand this is another way to unlock full BG for season. You can choose, do you like packs (like me who play Wild/Standar) or you dont care about Packs and prefer Arena tickets.
In my opinion Ysera is buff. She was not that good, at least that shows statistics.
Deathwing is much worse now. One you got less rats from Rat Pack, second 3 attack on tokens is much worse than 4 attack. There is quite a lot minions with 4 health (even at start) and that way token does not kill them with 3 attack. While before 4 attack killed almost everything. Lich King and Putricide are at least doing something. Before their power was very rarely good.
In Youtube videos of streamers Phase one have all things unlocked. No "secret" things. Also the same is on their own Official Site - on roadmap with 3 phases some are locked in Phase 1.

The locked ones are "New Class: Demon Hunter" and "Free Demon Hunter Deck"
Leeroy - I love that change. There was to much decks that copied him/ shadowstep him/ resurect him for OTK. While I love character I hate that card. Now they can print more Leeroy like cards in some classes, not in neutral evergreen set.
Turn 4 Mountain Giant is so frustrating for some decks. While its nice to play him its horrible to be on other side.
MCT - Die MCT Die.
Spellbreaker - he is to good to be in evergreen set. Having him makes getting any class silence useless. He is well stated and neutral. Also having him and Owl was weird. Owl have much worse stats and this is good for neutral card. While I will miss him (used him a lot) I agree with HOF him.
Out beloved Pain Guy - to reliable neutral draw, and for many classes (Mage, Warrior) even more absurd neutral Draw. Good HOF.
I also love that new theme for priest are Buffing+Healing, and stealing/copping cards. This is much more fun for both sides of game than doing nothing 10 turns then being killed by OTK.
- New ways of getting dust/ or gold. Something more than 10 gold per 3 wins.
- Dragons in Battlegrounds
- I hope they keep idea of all 3 Expansions being tied. This was awesome idea.
- New Hero portraits - they created a lots of them for Single Player missions. Let us use them (I want to be Kobold Druid!). They already have Voice Lines!
On serious note. Many card games have refunds, from the newer ones Eternal Cards also have refunds when card is nerfed (you can dust if for full dust - whatever dust is there called).
Yea Runeterra is quite F2P friendly now. Hearthstone in the first year also was really F2P friendly. There was not that much cards, you received quite a few from start and some packs/dust. Less cards were OP and many basic cards were much more playable.
Hearthstone is 6 years old now. There are hundreds of cards, and yes now Hearthstone is not that F2P friendly. Specially for new players.
I wonder how will Runeterra look even in 3 years from now. If they add to much new factions this will make game less F2P Friendly. Now we have 6 factions. If they add more than 3 new chance to get anything useful from pack will be much less. But all this is future. Now nonrefundable nerfed cards are no problem. This might be but probably we are good for 2 years or something. It all depends on how much factions and cards in each expansion they will add.
As midrange/late deck vs Agro or any faster deck it's awesome. You got much higher chance to draw something powerful and getting on it cost reduction to 1-4 mana than going up in mana cost. And he will end in drawing Agro tool that instead of 1-4 mana will now cost something like 6+.

I am not sure that this will help. They told us many times that what is in the Pack is decided when you get it not when you open it.

I love those changes. Instead of boring cards for combo decks - Draw everything, or One Turn Kill (by Prophet Velen or Divine Spirit Combo).
I like new small interactions like Cabal Shadow Priest +[Hearthstone Card (Scarlet Subjugator) Not Found].

My Wishlist:

Sometimes I had feeling I play in 2vs 1 battleground facing two players over and over instead of playing in 8 player rumble.

While I love then add new minions and stuff this kind of changes I love the most. Small tweaks to animations is what we needed.
I use ad block but there are sites (like out of cards) where I turn it off because:
- I like tu support site
- adds are not toxic annoying
Here they were a little bit annoying when they were inside posts. This was mostly trouble some on mobile. Right now its all fine. Keep up good work.
