Whelp, so much for being back every week. Stupid finals. Anyway.

It took me a lot of time to find good wording for a Deathrattle until I remembered Reborn and figured this would fit well in Galakrond.

I'll try to give feedback later today or tomorrow.

@linkblade91: I only card I could find with an equivalent text is Roll the Bones which doesn't use "has a Deathrattle", so I'm gonna leave it as is.

    I'm baaa-aaaack!

I've been so busy with my final year of college that the card competitions fell on the back burner, but I'm gonna do my best to keep on top of it. Anyway I've got two variation on Dredge, one that can trigger deathrattles (Sunken Saber is a good combo) and the other that can get big if you have something good waiting for it (particularly if you've played something like Ambassador Faelin).

    Feedback:

    Show Spoiler

Demonxz95: It's a good idea and the right stats to keep it from being broken, but I feel like if you can get it to the bottom of your deck, it would take a lot of dredging to take full advantage of and there are other cards (like the sunken cards) I'd want to dredge first.

linkblade91: This is a VERY powerful card if you play it right and leads to good build around ideas, I really like it.

First idea, more flavorful than anything but could lead to good combos. I might come up with something else after the rest of Stormwind is revealed and I know what I'm working with.

The Tinyfin version of the Vilefin Spawner is my favorite of the 3, the Discover one would be too powerful and Murgatha doesn't really make sense flavorwise as to how Shamans could overload an enemy.

    Wailor:

    Show Spoiler
Pearl Seeker is good but really basic. I prefer Holyfin out of the two, although personally I would buff it to 4/2 and lose the Divine Shield on the base minion to make the textbox look nicer

    Lundy:

Tirion is good powerwise but not very exciting as a Legendary. I'd go with Blindlight Broodmother.

    Neoguli:

I like the idea, but I feel like you should make it an Un'Goro minion and emphasize the Barnabus synergy in your description.

    Cheese:

The effect is cool but very powerful, I'd bump it up to 4 or 5 rank and buff it to 2/4 or 3/5. I'm curious to see how a Battleground card fares during a non-Battleground exclusive competition, so good luck!

    AeroJulwin:

I like the mechanics of Axolfin, but you might want to remove the Murloc tag from the Ghostfins to make it clearer that they won't go infinite. I'd assume the Ghostfins aren't enchanted with the extra stats but it's a little unclear at the moment.

    anchorm4n:

    Show Spoiler
Lil'idan is an interesting idea but way too powerful in its current incarnation. Either lower the stats or change it to "Your other Murlocs have Lifesteal". Mechnapper is a decent card but doesn't feel like a Murloc at all, and the Darktide Reaper is a pretty good card but should either be bumped to 5 or destroy all minions. Out of the three I like the idea for Lil'idan the most.

    R:

Simple but powerful, I like it (although you should move "adjacent" to the second line to make the textbox look nicer.

This is a really fun idea, I like it and it has good flavor.

Simple but powerful. Not much to say but I like it.

    Demonxz95:

Pretty good but it might make more sense as a Paladin minion.

Last week got busy and I forgot to submit my card. Rip. Anyway!

This week I decided to come up with a mechanic to interact with Tradeable cards, but I'm still a little unsure as to whether this is the best way to phrase the text.

I know mounts (and pretty much any other cards) don't normally give minion types, but I thought it'd be a fun mechanic as well as interesting flavor and support for Menagerie Warlock. And yes, I'll fix the watermark before I submit so you don't need to point it out.

Came up with a card idea but realized someone already posted one just like it as I was writing feedback. Dang. I'll try to come up with something else before the deadline, but here's some feedback anyway.

    Arkasaur:

    Show Spoiler
I like the idea, although I would personally up the durability and just have it summon one at a time (also capitalize Durability).

    Wailor:

    Show Spoiler
For balance I'd either lower the Durability or shuffle the armor into your deck instead.

Thanks for all the feedback, guess it's time to return the favor.

    BloodMefist:

I think the deck version of Coldbringer is the better power out of the 2, but I'd leave the requirement at 8 destroyed cards.

    grumpymonk:

    Show Spoiler
This is a great quest mechanically and flavorwise, although I think you may want to increase the requirement to 9-10, since I'd assume attacking the enemy hero would count and a aggro deck could abuse this.

    linkblade91:

    Show Spoiler
Good flavor and mechanics, not much else to say.

    Wailor:

    Show Spoiler
I'd go with the Agamaggan version, getting rid of DH's hero power is not a good move considering how much of their identity relies on that hero power. Although I think both versions feel a lot more like Hunter than Demon Hunter flavorwise.

    R:

    Show Spoiler
I think the requirement is way too easy to achieve compared to the value of the hero power. Maybe just require controlling multiple secrets at the same time instead?

    Lundy:

    Show Spoiler
Embrace Insanity is your best one, although I'd change Elysiana to a 5 mana 8/8 to match the Un'Goro quests.

    Demonzx95:

It's definitely a stranger quest than most, but I like it.

I guess I'll kick this off. This quest tries to combine all of the main Barrens Mage mechanics into one quest: spell schools, Hero Power synergy, and freeze synergy.

Took some time to come up with a new card, here's what I've got. Ties into Brightwing's Legendary effects while serving as a potential combo piece.

    More feedback:

    Show Spoiler

Anchorm4n: Go with the second version, it's more clear and still fits in the box. I like the new angle for the card.

Alfi: Ridiculously overpowered currently. Switch to Rush, lower the base stats, and / or change the mana requirement.

Lundy: Maybe make it say "replace your hero power with [insert name here]", and include a token with a new hero power with the original text plus the spell damage. I still prefer the first version you showed, but this one does have more connections to the original Thalnos.

Had to scrap my first idea because I thought it was any previous legendary and not just Classic, but I'll still post the feedback I had.

    Feedback:

    Show Spoiler

Lundy: Thalnos is simple but useful, I like it.

Anchorm4n: This could be a pretty powerful card, although something about the ability doesn't fit for me.

Me0203: Out of the three, I'd say Gruul is the most interesting.

Wailor: I'd go with the 4-Mana version.

linkblade91: You might want to increase the mana cost to 6 or 7, this is a pretty powerful card early and it's not hard for Druid to get to 5 mana early enough for this to have a big impact

Demonxz95: Pretty powerful effect if you build your deck right, I like it.

DestroyerR: Good card. I kinda wish this still had Charge, but that's just me (it would be completely broken with it).

R: Simple but effective and good flavor.

Longshadow:  I like the flavor of Professor Jones, although the spells should probably cost 5 Mana.

Almost forgot to submit this week, but got it in under the wire. Looks like everyone's submitted already so I'll try to be remember to come early to give feedback for the next comp.

    Feedback time for unsubmitted cards:

    Show Spoiler

Wailor: I like the flavor of your cards, but I'd go with Purging Flame or the new Hibernate.

allthehype: You should go with a custom watermark if you're going to directly mention Holy spells. Otherwise I'd go with the Renounce version out of the two, although you might want to clarify in the card text if the spells are from other classes.

Ilphelkiir: That's a really interesting mechanic, I like it.

grumpymonk: It's a good mechanic, but I'm not sure if the flavor fits in Mage.

Nirast: I like Forged in Frost, but it might make more sense to simplify it to just "Give your weapon +2/+1 and Freeze your hero".

R: Magnificent is the better of the two, Felocity feels too much like a Warlock card.

Demonxz95: Good mechanic, but the flavor and school could use improvement.

Well this semester has been brutal but now I should have the time to compete again. Yay!

This would have released back in Kobolds to support Silver Hand Recruit decks. It's nice that spell schools are retroactive so I can actually use former expansions as a base in this comp.

I'll try to come back and give feedback soon.

    It's good to be back.

We've seen multi-tribe cards, now let's check out a multi-school cards! Meant to be a build around for Frost and/or Fire Mage decks.

    Feedback time:

    Show Spoiler

melsterz39: It's a pretty interesting idea, but limited by whether your opponent is playing a Nature class (which at this point is Druid/Shaman and maybe Rogue?). I think you can drop the Mana cost down to 1/2 and not have it be oppressive.

KANSAS: I like it, but definitely change the art (you could probably put it in Barrens if you can find a good Totem).

Elfensilver: You could switch from Whenever to After and then have enough room to switch 'you' to 'your hero' within 4 lines and make it more consistent.

anchorm4n: I really like Kael'thas, good effect and flavor.

Neoguli: There's interesting applications for this, but it seems very complicated and locking out your hero power with Arcane secrets just means you have less Arcane spells you can play or less hero powers which isn't a good idea for a card that is supposed to support both deck types.

grumpymonk: Abundance needs to cost at least 4/5, it's way too good at this point. Kor'kron is at a good balance right now and fits the flavor of Fire Mage.

Swizard: Ilxos is a good finisher, but I don't know how a combo card will do in the voting stage. And for Arrogant Gnome, I'd go with the adding random spells variation instead.

linkblade91: I prefer Herald of Light out of the two, it has less ways to abuse it than Flame and avoids the comparisons to Jan'alai that Flame would inevitably get.

BloodMefist: I prefer Vile Instructor out of the two.

Nirast: I like Natural Evolution, but if you go with Malakk I'd limit it to just Nature spells since I don't know which Fire spells you'd actually want to cast on your own minions to get the +2/+2 buff.

Fedrion: Simple but effective, I like it (but change '1 addional damage' to '+1 damage')

Demonxz95: Another simple but effective one.

Decided to go with a good old-fashioned Giant, this one to support Y'Shaarj, the Defiler decks.

    Feedback time:

    Show Spoiler

NerdyMcNerd: This is a really interesting mechanic, but I'd recommend (a) switching it to Rogue or Hunter since I don't think the effect fits Mage as well, (b) drop the cost to 7 and make it a Battlecry, this thing is way too good if you can get 6 cards out of it, and © make sure to to fix the text to "by (3)" since costs are always in parentheses.

Wailor: I prefer Grand Corruptor Faux. Moonclaw Panthara is way too good while Survival of the Fittest is in standard since you could potentially get 2 free 8/8s with Rush.

DavnanKillder: I prefer Trustworthy Pact-Seller out of the two due to the flavor of it, but Hans is still an interesting card and a good tech against combo decks. If you do go with Hans though, it should either be called "Tax Collector Hans" or "Hans, the Bat": the name is too wordy with both.

anchorm4n. Skipping you because you said you'll post something new later.

DestroyerR: I feel like both of these cards are way too good, Winslow could easily break if you have the coin and can get a huge card for free, and Elegant could lead to really easy Exodia setups with Antonidas.

Pokeniner: That's a fun card, but I think the flavor would work better if it was in Darkmoon Faire instead of Gadgetzan.

doingtheobvious: I like it, the dual-class fits the mechanic and it seems pretty good without being overpowered. And welcome!

linkblade91: I prefer Giant Prize out of the two, and I hope you feel better soon.

Demonxz95: I like this design, it's just scary enough without being overpowered.
