Yeah, that is one of the deck's worst matchups. Brawl is your friend there but unless you manage to lower their health in the early game you are pretty much screwed. I didn't see that many cubelocks on my climb so they weren't too much of an issue for me. Unfortunately I don't think there's much you can do in terms of switching specific cards to counter them, since even if you use more lategame threats, they will end up outvaluing you.
I really like your changes. They do a good job at bringing some of the cards in line with the current design philosophy of the game while keeping things simple enough for basic and classic. That said, the wording on some of the cards should be updated.
Heroes Never Die should read: Shuffle a copy of the three highest cost friendly minions that have died this game into your deck.
Imprison should read: Choose a minion. It goes Dormant. When you have no minions, it awakens.
I personally would like all of these to be added into the game. Hopefully next year blizzard does something similar.
The thing is that an even deck doesn't work very well with an even hero power. The idea behind Genn making your hero power cost 1 is that it gives you something to do on odd turns, where normally you wouldn't have a way to spend all your mana. Baku also has a similar dynamic, since your upgraded hero power is a strong option on turn 2, and on later even turns you can be mana efficient with 1 cost cards. Odd demon hunter doesn't disrupt this flow very much, since your hero power just acts as a 1 cost card in that regard.
You might think that it could be worth it to change the card anyways, as it would let you use your hero power on even turns without penalty, and you'd be right. Still, such a change could pose problems in the future. If at any point a new class with a 3 mana hero power were to be released, genn would bring its cost down to 2 mana and not 1, giving you 1 floating mana on odd turns. Less powerful, yes, but also not very well designed, and I think wild's high power level could deal with the extra discount relatively well.
Then again, they've almost killed odd hunter by nerfing all its good odd cards into even cards, so maybe it's not such a bad idea.
Did the Antaen awake 2 turns later with full health? Maybe it took the damage but it had gone dormant regardless.

Nice to hear. Good luck on the climb!
I'm in [Redacted] now!
Back when he was in charge...
Thanks for featuring my list! I think I'll give that Totem Shaman list a try, it looks very fun.

I didn't record it, but I managed to climb to legend using this deck throughout all of diamond without much of a hassle, so I'd say around 70%.
It's great how versatile it is.
Very accurate name.
I really like this design.
This card is wild!

I suppose the demon hunter tab is a bug.
Never thought this would be printed.
He's back!
This was cool to get.
Amazing animation.
I whish this was an actual card back too.
The rarest card back, honestly.
