That's... not a bad idea actually. But it's still considerably slower since it doesn't reduce from healing or non-HP damage.
Outside of the obvious Wild stuff, Conviction (Rank 1) is no longer in Odd Paladin which I like (card was bonkers from the start). However, Flesh Giant to 9 and not 10? This hurts Even Warlock the most :(
I think a good way to buff Caravans is to give them +1 Attack. That way they won't be so snowbally as they would be with +1 Health or if they triggered at the end of your turn, but at least they'd be vanilla 2/2/3 minions with pseudo-Taunt when traded into.
I think this might confirm Arthas comes back in the third expansion this year! Very long explanation here:
First of all:
"@IksarHS How often is the team planning ahead for future expansions?
@MusicalRhea We work about a year in advance. For example, we are going to start the pitch process for the July/August 2022 set in a few weeks."
- That's 15 months in advance.
"Arthas is way too big of a character to [not?] come back to one way or another…"
Then you remember this from 8 and a half months ago (potential Frozen Throne teaser)
15 months in advance from this post would mean that a potential Frozen Throne expansion might happen as far as 7 months from now.
And finally, look at the expansion teasers:
About 7 months from now, the third expansion of the year will be announced/released. Lots of snow on it, no?
So what if the 3rd expansion isn't about Horde vs. Alliance as many have guessed (me included), but instead focuses on Northrend and the Scourge with the two factions fighting against Arthas the Lich King? If you think about it, lore-wise it's quite possible.
The timeline of WoW is as follows: Classic -> The Burning Crusade -> Wrath of the Lich King.Forged in the Barrens likely represents Wow: Classic, and so would the expected Alliance-based 2nd expansion. TBC can be skipped since that's when we "meet" Illidan, and that whole thing already happened in Hearthstone with Ashes of Outland. The lore here could be considered a stretch, but Hearthstone has its own unique timeline, after all.
Pretty sure I see Eudora in the key art (bottom right).
Wombo combo alert:
Brann Bronzebeard + Mojomaster Zihi + Revenant Rascal x2 (with Drakkari Enchanter + Emperor Thaurissan setup)Each player now has 2 Mana and you have a 5/5, two 3/3 and a 2/4.
How will Lord Barov work? You can't Discover, so will you drag from the HP to a hero icon? Or will you choose from up to 8(!) heroes?
Glad they fixed the real problem with Kael'thas instead of nerfing his cost. As for Illucia, I think I'll try Odd Priest again :)
I should point out that Nature Studies won't work with Mecha'thun. The discovered spell will prevent you from emptying your hand, a.k.a. you'll end up holding Mecha'thun, Naturalize and the discovered spell, but if play it the cost reduction is gone.
Wait wait wait wait wait, Prince Valanar actually saw play???
I did the math and it checks out, 30 damage precisely, as long as Soulfire doesn't discard the other Soulfire.
The real problem is that it's a 15 card combo (14+1 for Soulfire discard).
Well I think it's obvious what square Glide crosses off...
Meanwhile, on Deep Dark Web Hearthcards:
Related but unrelated, what happened to the weekly meta reports?

Started with wanting to use Murozond the Infinite I got from a pack to make a control Priest. The whole Baku thing kinda spiraled out of control. I guess there's just something about winning with a class that's not supposed to use it (Glitter Moth cries btw).
Doesn't Lynchen add Battlecry minions to your hand?
Oh yeah, totally forgot 😬. Thanks!
Suddenly Blowtorch Saboteur doesn't look so bad...
Glad to see they remembered Boomsday puzzles. Now, if only they told us what the Lich King's special 1-cost card is against DH...
You could OTK with five or six cards. Or just one.
Truly a masterpiece!
