    Hey there Custom Hearthstone Friends

So I've been playing hearthstone for a LONG time now (almost 6 years now...doesn't time fly).  For about as long as I have been playing the game, I've been making custom cards for it.  So I figured some people may enjoy looking at all the random ideas I have.  As for why I'm sharing this in a google doc and not a list on here reason 1.  Dude this post would be so long there are over 550 cards in there and reason 2 I'm lazy.  So yea here's the doc

    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Cp61vME58YCa2qFhCqbWQjUyHXr6wSXn_v_zuIAh7UU/edit?usp=sharing

Idk if anyone gonna go through all those cards, but if you do, I hope you enjoy it!  Comments/Criticisms are welcome.  I've made a lot of cards; doesn't mean I'm any good at it.  If posting a google docs link isn't allowed for some reason let me know and I'll figure another way to share these.

    Thanks Again!

Why would it not trigger when you pull them through secret passage? I’m pretty sure you still draw cards with passages effect, so they would trigger. In fact, I’d say it has positive synergy because you would keep the card that was drawn with the cast when drawn effect off the tickets because it wasn’t a card that secret passage drew, but was drawn by the ticket.  Maybe I’m wrong, but if I’m right this card is insane in aggro roug

The fact that DH runs 29 cards from its class and then only 1 from neutral just shows how unfair and poorly designed the class was IMO.  It has fewer cards in the game than any other class, meaning it should rely the most on neutral cards for power, but no, it runs almost all DH cards.  It even had two rounds of nerfs that barely changed anything.  Blizz fix ya class.

Kaelthas needs to be changed, that's just a fact.  It is leading to an unhealthy metagame being able to just draw cards and then play an entire hand full of BS onto the board or dealing 22 damage to your face while ignoring taunt and healing themselves to full.  EIther that card has to be put into a class, because it is way too design limiting to be a neutral, or it needs to be nerfed into the fucking ground.  I was one win away from the diamond, something I have been grinding for since the start of this month.  ONE WIN.  And then I lose to demon hunter combo 4 times in a row.  I know demon hunter is its own problem, but that's gonna get nerfed again and it's only in one class. But Kaelthas is used in multiple classes and multiple decks, and most of them are just built around Kaelthas.  It needs to be changed, because it's so unfair to just play free card after free card.  I'm not playing this game until Blizzard learns how to balance their fucking game that I have spent so much time and money on only to be shit on but BS.  I'll be back when this shit's fair to play.

Edit - I came back the next day and decided to play agro demon hunter.  Won 5 in a row.  Yea DH is a fair and balanced class.  At least I'm diamond now and don't have to play ranked for the rest of the season.

I'm sick of playing Hearthstone right now.

It's just frustrating to play against cards that are so overly polarizing, either you play the type of aggro deck that kills you on turn 2 or a control game that your descendants are going to be playing.  Also, the whole evasive dragons are really annoying, as playing as a mage means you just don't get to kill them anymore.

Freezing Trap is a card that I'm surprised not more people are talking about as a complaint card because it consistently finds a way to cause me to lose, either freezing Zilliax or Kartuht Defender.  People may be like "oh, well you don't have to attack" like shut up I can't not attack a phase stalker and let him pound out more and more unfair secrets, with a higher chance of freezing trap existing every new secret.

I think I'm gonna stop playing until the rotation, or some significant nerfs.  This game has become unhealthy for my mental state, and I would suggest other people with similar thoughts do as well.

I'm genuinely confused why you'd run Amazing Reno if you're not going to use the hero power. Surely there are better options than burning a card slot and potentially a mulligan opportunity to be able to play a 10 mana Twisting Nether...

I think the Twisting Nether compassion is a little short-selling Reno.  It's more like Plague of Death (with the silence-like effect)with a small upside of messing with res priest (Ironically, the deck that runs plague of death) and Mech Paladin.  As for why I run Reno, highlander only allows you to have one of each card.  Board clears that mage has are Reno the Relicologist, Flamestrike, Blizzard, and Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron (sometimes).  I found myself sometimes getting overrun by swarmy decks or ones with enough health to live Reno or Flamestrike.  The Amazing Reno allows me to deal with ANY size board, and screw over some decks like the above-mentioned ones or Treant druid with Soul of the Forest.  Also, casting the occasional spell may win you games, but eventually, you want to stop when you're close to fatigue if you're worried about drawing cards.  That is why I run Amazing Reno, even if it is just for the complete board wipe. (Edit was for spelling)

Highlander mage is in a peculiar spot where it's fantastic against all classes except for hunter. Which is by far the most popular class.

Hunters kill the mages before they can come online and mages need all the survivability they can get.

Wasting one of your mulligan options to look for said survivability for a win condition that you won't ever need anyway is therefore a big no-no.

Thanks for the Feedback.  I was thinking more of a solution to a problem than actually deck construction with this post I guess. I guess mage already wins the long game, no need to extra win.

Hey guys, lurker doing his first post

I really enjoy playing Highlander mage, especially using The Amazing Reno.  However, one thing that I see most people agree on is that his hero power is... lacking, to say the least.

What I was thinking is that you add Raid the Sky Temple into the deck.  Maybe you mulligan it back into your deck, or keep it.   It depends on what you think that matchup is going to be.  Then, after you play reno, you complete the quest and get back a decent hero power, at least one that's better than random spells milling your entire deck.  This strat may be to slow, but if it's against Hunter, maybe you just mulligan the quest.

I guess if you are going super late game and have the Archvillan Rafaam you can turn those "worthless" imps into "usefull" Millhouse Manastorms and "usefull" Duskfallen Avianas
