    Hmm... Frost Nova without Doomsayer? Tough spott.

    Also, the effect is nice, but does a Mage, that uses freezes really wanna use 2 of them on one target, when you could just freeze it twice?

    Seems pretty nice.

    I guess it depends on how many Rush beasts we'll have, but getting 1 or 2 cards from this should be real good tempo. 5 health for 3 mana is also quite chunky.

    Btw: Just think about how crazy this could have been with Tundra Rhino!

    Oh, yes!

    Don't know how good it'll be (though Tutors are always at least decent), but I'll definitely try this and Kolkar Pack Runner in Lock and Load Hunter with the new Yogg!

    It's probably gonna be used mainly on Carnival Clown. Can also be used on the 2nd half of Druid of the Plains.

    And now that I think about it: It should also work with Germination and Ironbark, right?

    Big Beast Druid is slowly coming together! Play Druid of the Plains or Marsh Hydra, draw it with this, and copy it with Menagerie Warden.

    Seems weird for a class that's rather active, but hey, turned out nicely for Hunter, so who knows?

    I think HP Mage might be something.

    Also, nice to see that Even Mage in Wild got some love.

    Hero Power Mage. Been a while since we that archetype.

    Don't know if this is good enough as a standalone, but a must-include if you're playing the new Mage legendary. Kind of similar to Daring Fire-Eater and Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk.

    Outside of that, I wonder how this interacts with other Hero Powers.

    Could we see the return of Spiteful Druid?

    They already have some good minions, and they're about to get Druid of the Plains, soI wouldn't be surprised.

    Oooh, yeah!

    Deckbuilding-restriction is kinda tough, but if it's the same powerlevel as the old Kazakus, it should be worth it! I assume that the effects will be different, but somewhat similar (like draw x cards, Taunt/Armor giving you protection, ...).

    Also, think about this: You always get a minion! The old version sometimes flops, and doesn't affect the board enough. This one on the other hand will at least always give you a form of board presence.

    I'm not too sure...

    It's a nice swing, but doesn't this have anti-synergy with Oh My Yogg!? Like, one of its main uses is protect your board from AoE, but that's not possible if it got turned into a minion, leaving you open to big removal.

    I guess it's could be good, if there's not much AoE this exp.

    So, now that the new Kaz got revealed, the chances of getting a new Finja should go up, right?

    Like people speculate, he could be one of the mercs. If that's the case, I'm putting my money on Rogue.

    Idk. I think it's more likely that it's a card that references him. The artwork just looks too much of that of a background character.

    On the other hand: it wouldn't be the only card that could have a comeback. There's people thinking that we'll see a new Kazakus, because of some artwork having a resemblance of his belt.

    Maybe they'll both return in some form?

    Always cool to see your concepts here in the forums! Also, bonus points for making this in GIMP. That program can be really annoying from time to time.

    It's been a while since I did something in regards to UI/UX, but here are some of my thoughts:

    Guilds

    • I don't think you need an extra button for that on the Main Screen. You already have the tab in your Diary screen, as you've shown in one of your concepts. If you do want one on the Main Screen, I think turning the icon into a play coin/token that's similar to the shop icon could be a good idea.
    • Guild Home Screen: Due to its current size, some of the finer lines in the banner disappear, so I'd suggest to make it bigger/the main focus on the screen, and have a smaller space for the text and a smaller font (I think most people wouldn't need that much space to explain their guilds). Also,  maybe keep the "stone coin" for the background of the icon? That way you could have some consistency with the other icons (BG, Duels, Shop to some extend,...) AND have customizable banners.
    • Maybe add a Screen that shows all members? You could click on their icons and get redirected to their Stats tab. Maybe you could even add little crown icons on their stats, and show who's got the most wins etc. in that way?
    • Rankings: Maybe have it look a bit more similar to the layout of the stats tab? Like, a 2x2 system?

     

    Tournament

    • I like the idea of adding a Tournament Decks Page to the profile. But there is a bit of a problem: Player A sees Player Bs Decks, and builds his Line Up around those. The rest of the participants doe the same. Now, what if Player B changes his Decks last minute? He could directly counter their Decks and have an inherent advantage. On the other hand, if the chosen decks are locked, the first player to choose their decks are at a disadvantage, because the rest would simply build a line up that counters theirs. The only way I could come up with to prevent this, is to make these pages accessible after you picked and locked your decks... which would make the page kinda pointless? idk
    • I like the Icon for the Mode. Fits pretty well!
    • Tournament Mode Screen: Make the font a bit smaller and you're good to go (btw: I think adding fine black borders could look good, but I know how weird and unintuitive text borders in GIMP are).
    • Match-Up Screen: This one needs more work. Like, you have multiple buttons (Inspect/Review) that do the same, looking at deck lists, when you could simply have one that does that. Then there's a couple of layout choices that I find weird. For example: Why are the banners where they are and not next to the teams name?
    • Here's my Idea: Maybe repurpose the Deckbuilding Screen. You know, the one were you can pick between premade lists or make your own. The first 3 slots are your Line Up, and the "create new deck" button gets replaced with one that switches to the opponent's decks. And since it's the same layout like the Deckbuilding Screen, you don't need an "inspect" button, because the list will already be displayed on the right side. The "ban" button would be there where the "pick deck" button would be. Also, the last Screen (the one with Key Cards) is a neat idea, but it absolutely doesn't look like HS.

    That's about it with my nagging! ;)

    I love when people take time out of their day and come up with fun custom ideas for the games they like! To dabble into the different aspects of game design, and to get some experience and newfound appreciation through that,... really cool!
