4 mana topdeck draw 4 in aggro is good, I dont know though - demon hunter is tempo orientated in it's nature, and this isnt a tempo card unless it's a topdeck on hyperaggro lists.

Might see play, needs to be a good control DH archtype first and I'm yet to see a good list there.

Ah fair play - This is the deck I've been trying today - https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/12611-kingsbane-rogue

Seems like the aggro way of doing it. I'm thinking of cutting something for silence or two, possibly for an eater of secrets due to high numbers of mages currently on ladder.

    Any suggestions?

Shout out to all the wild players!

I've been jumping in and out ever since big warrior got retired from standard - from the latest wild pack bundle I got my old favourite card back - Kingsbane (which i stupidly dusted a while ago when I was adamant I wouldnt get into wild...how wrong i was...)

I'm looking to try going for legend with kingsbane (havnt managed it in wild before, need that notch on the belt)

I gather this is more of an aggro deck now since the lifesteal was nerfed - I'm looking for good combo's and reccomended build types. I've tried the pirate version and had some fun, but does anybody use sonya with it anymore? or the DK? is a Mill version worthwhile? Which is best vs aggro or control?

Many thanks in advance for any comments -

Taunt druid's rise may see a control dragon warrior rise - plenty of minion orientated damage for the new beast and non-targeting removal spells.

I'm sick of res priest now though. Seems like a strong counter against nearly anything unless you build directly to counter. Whenever i'm playing midrange they seem to get the 2/5 deathrattle kill a random enemy minion card and spam it. As aggro they manage to heal long enough to spam kartut defender. Only deck I've felt has a good chance is token druid, anything else though - Perfect draws, every time.

The power level is a pain but it's just not fun to play against. I'm at the stage of conceding when seeing them and having moments of relief when I play against anything else. dulldulldull.

Better reduce my salt intake....not very healthy...

The card is actually a solid Aggro inclusion, although not really synergic.

    Embiggen might appreciate this tho.

Embiggen makes minions in deck cost more mana, so I doubt it works unless you're including wisps. And with lack of any aggro based draw in Druid i can't see wisps making the cut.

Exactly, but Instructor summons from deck.

This means you get stats bonus, with no downside.

No, it means all your 1 cost minions are now 2 cost minions. so if you ebiggen once then to pull them you'd need cards that originally cost 0

Title says most of it - there's some great cards being released supporting archtypes that needed a buff. I've really enjoyed the paladin Air Raid card in my homebrew dragon-heal-pure paladin (great vs face hunter) and had some fun with the beast embiggen druid that's currently doing the rounds here and on hearthpwn.

Anybody found a good/fun deck for the new mage elemental or anything else of note from these new additions?

Pirate warrior feels strong to play - I reckon once the meta settles a bit it'll rest nicely in mid tier 2

Shaman - Galakrond is strong, especially with faceless corupter (this will see a nerf, to good with too many token/lackey generators in this meta) Def tier 1

Highlander Mage - really suprised, this deck seems really good. Thought it might get put out this meta, solid bottom to mid tier 2

Galakrond Rogue - Hard to pilot but can do nearly anything with the right person. Likley tier 2-3 but can be tier1 under the right user.

Hunter - Dragon version is definitley powerful, not many people playing it yet. Highlander is slightly more powerful, again a strong tier 2

Druid - the dragons are really fun, token seems good but just not op enough, reckon druid will settle around tier 3

Priest - reckon galak priest is a sleeper, there's a deck waiting to be found with that.

Its a nice idea, when fighting against tempo mage you tend to focus your efforts on killing anything they play to prevent value rather than going face, and just kill them when they're out of resources.

On your decklist you've only played three games - have you played anymore/made any changes?

Also are two snap freezes needed? surely a fireball or 2 would be better with just 1 snap freeze for the combo.

I like this as a multi win condition counter to n'zoths either burning them early or otk late, will prob give it a go over the weekend

I find it crazy that essentially two neutral cards are shaping such a large part of the meta. I loved the wild cards initially, but i'm now thinking that Yog would have been a better choice purely due to the defender + n'zoth combo for any deck. Rogue's playing a late game control now purely because of tog's scheme - hate to shout it again but thats some bullshit class identity there.

The only counter I can think of that could consistently beat it would be transforming the defender, stalling long enough for an OTK like Maly Druid, or a hyperaggro deck (basically just murlocs atm)

combo disrupters currently arnt consistant enough to be a counter imo. none stand up to Dirt Rat - anybody have any good suggestions? I'm thinking of making a control shaman counter build to n'zoth but very open if anybody has good alternate suggestions.

I'm not overly sold on Siamat, I feel he's an amazing filler card for highlander decks . I reckon that replacing with ragnaros is going to increase winrates more.

As the others have said though, Octosari is best for highlander warrior for the refills - will likely be a safe craft as it's the latest expansion (around for ages) alongside the highlanders, so any deck that needs a refill late game that's low on card draw will likely use octosari.

Quest Shaman is fine, it's balanced. But I get tilted when the double giggling inventor comes out, then they bounce with a bog slosher and repeat. Without Mass Dispel there's nothing other than full board clears that can deal with it. Even if you have a full board you cant get through 4 divine shield taunts in a turn. Then 4 more come out. Possibly another 4 if they run 2 giggling inventors. Then the shudderwock comes out and there's another 4.

It's like the K+C cubelock meta, just boards upon boards of taunts.

    Its.

It has a pretty good curve filling all stages of the game, has some good removal, good board presence, it ticks a lot of boxes and can switch gears between more control style and tempo depending on the match up.

On HSReplay currently secret hunter is only just behind it so if you don't have the cards you can still make an effective and similar non-highlander deck.

As RavenSunHS said though, by removing a few copies of secrets gives you two cards that win games by themselves and doesn't affect the consistency that much.

The Pyramid idea is fantastic, forcing people to play underused cards will find so many unknown combos.

I could give some of the under performing quests a chance to shine in a format!

Well for me the free legendary came when I logged in which hasn't happened for them - they checked their collection also and no new cards - they only have 1 legendary (Alexstraza, at least its a good one!) So it isn't due to a miss click, they just haven't been given them.

They've completed the tutorial - I cant think of any reason they haven't got the SOU free leg unless there's a rank you need to achieve and anything before that rank is unofficially classified as tutorial or summat.

    Hi there,

A mate of mine is currently at level 25 and has had an account for a few months now. They havn't received the free SOU legendary quest or the SOU quest - this is meant to be given on login within the first 90 days of the expansion release.

Does anybody know if he needs to hit a level e.g. 20 before receiving this?

in total there's 4:5 stats in this card. reborn makes cloning it okay if clone decks ever becomes a thing. Also has some synergy with recurring villain.

Should be decent in some decks, hard to tell if it's competitive yet.

Chunky stats if you get it off wandering monster, the drawback is likely too much.

Mages and rogues would slaughter any deck playing this.
