While I agree that before it was too slow, now I find it even too fast.

Always consider that spells resolve from left to right, in the order they're placed on the "bar" in the mid screen.

I'm an old fan of BG and IWD, played all of them back when they were released (and sometimes I replay them even now, with fancy party like 6 Bards). I'm really looking forward to the third chapter but I've to admit that turn based combat is not exactly my favourite.

Hecarim needs more than a single nerf, in order both to fix is power level and the combo with The Rekindler and The Harrowing. Since the other two cards are not particulaty oppressive per se, I'll focus on the hero:

    • Make him a 4/5 - he's a very offensive minion so he shouldn't be too resilient, but enough to be out of range from the more common removals and cheap minions' attack power.
    • Remove Overwhelm - he already puts alone tons of damage on the board with his summons and buff, he doesn't need to also be able to trample.
    • Reduce his Spectral Riders stats to 2/2 - they're free and get buffed automatically when he's leveled up, they put too much pressure atm.

Maybe there are also other SI cards that may requires nerfs, but for now Hecarim seems to be the most problematic.

Highlander on HS are a thing because they let you use some very powerfull cards, but without any upside why would you cripple the consistency of your deck?

This could be described as "clever use of game's mechanic".

    Freljord - Done

    Shadow Isle - 16

After those I don't really know on which one to focus, since I haven't seen any deck that has taken my attention on the others. Probably P&Z because Teemo for the memes.

A nice meme twist on the meta list of this deck.

While I understand that they'll abandon older cards at a certain point but knowing that there will be absolutly no support for such format is already preventing me to spend cash on the game, since my collection will become outdated sooner or later without (probably) any chance of having at last a vaguely tweaked format. The game is anyway very F2P friendly, but I'm always looking to a "vintage" format that could actually remain at last enjoyable and for which there will be some kind of attention for its balance (not like Wild on HS).

I'm happy to see both Commander Ledros and Deny nerfed, even if not in a way I like. At last it means that even Riot aknowledge that they were problematic previously.

Ledros still a bit too strong, imho, and may need further tweaks.

To avoid miscalculation they should show if a stat goes negative directly on board, without the need to mouseover.

Maybe it was just a visual bug.

I didn't say it wasn't the entire population, but that doesn't mean it's a reasonable sample size. It just means the cards don't exist to compare it to yet.

You have to make comparison with what we have now, not what we could have in the future. Actually Ledros stats are on pars with all others 8-mana drops, on top of all his other abilities (which make him pretty strong).

OTK with Judgment may trick someone now, but people will learn and it'll become harder and harder to make it works (the opponent just need to avoid an all in attack to negate it). The best solution - imho - is a deck that can keep Fiora alive as long as possible with buffs and Barrier but I haven't seen performing list for now.

the consensus seemed to be that Overwhelm rolls over Barrier completely, just like it does over 'placeholder blockers'.

It's wrong: Overwhelm acts just by a mathematic calculation, ignoring whatever happens to the blocking minion. So the Overwhelm attacker will just inflict the excess damage to the Nexus but is mitigated by the blocker's health (regardless of the condition of said minion).

If a minion with Barrier block one with Overwhelm, the blocking's health is subtracted from the attacker's damage that still pass onto the Nexus. Barrier prevents the defending minion's death by negating the damage it should suffer.

Also if a spell with Drain targets a minion with Barrier, the protection is removed but there isn't any healing. In order to get an actual heal the spell must inflict damage.

That Avarosan Frost Midrange seems interesting, but I'm missing Katarina and one Ashe.

Guess I've to find the time to do a couple of Expeditions.

It's the Eye of Agamotto from the Dr.Strange comic (the original one, not the version used in the MCU).

Commander Ledros is an healthy card by an anti-control point of view, but it also has too many other extras: bounces back in hand as Last Breath, has pretty decent stats and has Fearsome.

Since it's role has tech card is perfect, they should lower its statistics or at last remove Fearsome (so that it may be blocked even by little creeps) in order to limit its flexibility.

Back in the days of WoW Vanilla I was the first on our server to get the Benediction staff. Since it looks like a golden shiny spoon, guild mates started to make jokes about it and in the end I made a ticket to GMs in order to switch name into Lightspoon (since I was an Holy Priest) because it sounds nice and was also pretty unique.
